Q: titan vs tundra vs silverado vs F150 vs ram?
Ok here’s my deal, time to get a new company truck, thats really just mine and I need to know whats the best, looking for a 4 door short bed 2008 something, and price isn’t really an issue, I have had a lot of fords and now have a 2006 and I love it but I’m a little mad at ford for not changing one singe thing in 3 years on this truck, so whats the best truck for me to get give me the high’s and low’s of each and if possible any review online that has tested them against each other.
one more thing, I will only be towing a small amount and not very heavy, a 3 horse trailer every once in a while is all so mileage is a pretty big deal, mine now gets 14. anyways Thanks for you help everybody

A: i work for a company that has 100 vehicles, mostly chevy, we just bought two crew max tundras, they have lots of power and good gearing, they get 18mpg, i would prefer to spend the extra $3000 for a silverado with the duramax. we do have some fords and they spend more time in the shop than on the road, 6.0 liter diesels are junk

Q: nissan titan vs. chevy silverado?
im getting either a 4 door titan or a 4 door silverado 1500 but i wanna know which one has more room in both front and back seats…do any of you guys own these trucks??? can you help me plzzz thanks :)

A: I have driven them.

The room they have is almost identical. You will not be able to tell the difference.

The Nissan is less common and better looking, but the Silverado has always been rated the best truck in the world almost every year.

Q: Nissan Titan vs. Chevy Silverado?
which one is better?-pros and cons-i am looking for the extended cab in both models with the V8 engines and 4 wheel drive, any suggestions or comments would be appreciated
i do also plan to use this truck for offroading and occasional towing of a car or a couple of motorcycles

A: I had owned an ‘86 Nissan Model 720 (one year b-4 the hard bodies came out), it had a Z-24 4 cyl. in it and I just sold with 296,000 miles on it and everything on it still worked, including the A/C. Nissans are legendary for their reliability but so are Chevys too. The best way I figured it out was to go and rent one from one of the major car rental cos. for a couple of days. That way you can test it out yourself with no pressure from a salesman in the front seat with you. Yeah, it may cost a few bucks to do, but then your not stuck making payments on a bad decision.

Q: Which engine is better for orverall performance, an American push rod engine or a Japanese DOHC engine?
For example, the Nissan Titan vs. the Chevrolet Silverado or the Nissan 350Z vs the 6 cylinder Ford Mustang.

A: It’s really all personal preference. They both have pros and cons.

I like them both for different reasons.

I really must say though – the 350Z vs. Mustang V6?? This is comparing apples to oranges. The performance version of the Mustang is the V8 GT model, the V6 is just a commuter.

Where as the truck comparison…what about Ford, they’ve had an overhead cam in their V8 trucks for several years now.

Also, Japanese makers squeeze massive amounts of power out of smaller engines (fours and sixes) due to high emission standards, small vehicle platforms, etc.

Q: Opinions on trucks. (America) vs (Japan).?
Alright im a die hard Ford Fan I personally believe that Ford makes the best trucks around but I’ll be as non biased as possible here.

I don’t think Toyota or Nissan for that matter makes trucks quite as good as some people tend to think. This video (If you care to watch it) Shows the frame rigidity of a Ford F-150 Chevrolet Silverado and a Toyota Tundra. The Tundra failed this test miserably. Ford did best with Chevrolet close second.

Now Toyota does have some good quality’s to its truck. Powerful 5.7L V8 puts out more power than Fords current 5.4L or Chevy’s 5.3L. But in contrast Chevy now has a 6.2L V8 that comes’s in all silverado forms not just Denali anymore. That puts out over 400hp. And Ford themselves is going to be realizing a 6.2L and 5.0L V8 in the next year or two as replacements for their 4.6L and 5.4L V8’s Both of Fords new V8’s are said to have over 400hp.

My logic as to why Ford currently builds the best full size truck is this….Even though its Horsepower and Torq numbers fall short of the Toyota Tundra’s. It is still rated to pull a heavier load. And to me that say’s alot about the quality of the suspension and frame the over chassis of the truck.

As I see it right now the Tundra’s not much more than a red light racer. The Ford F-150 is a true work truck and I will even go as far as to say Chevy and Dodge are better pickups than the Tundra or Titan.

I dont expect everyone to agree with me. Im not trying to start a fight or anything so lets try and keep are anwsers civil. I am intrested in hearing all reasonable oppoions if you have one.

A: Never, ever, buy a Ford.
