Q: Civic Vs. Accord Vs. Camry Vs. Corolla. Which would anyone recommend between the 4?

A: I love my honda civic hybrid .. they’re cute and they’re good on gas .. espically with the way gas is going up .. lol .. but yea i love my honda civic hybrid ..

Q: Toyota Camry LE VS Honda Civic/ Accord?
My husband got into an car accident, and our VW Passat was totaled, we are not ready to put in that much money in the same car again.
So now we are looking at other options – We went dealers and test drove Toyota Camry, Honda Civic/Accord. Based on that we both are more driven towards camry, but is it a good one, or is there anything else better around the same price range!
Or is it just advisable to buy a old 2000 model Nissan Altima with 53k miles for $ 6500….please help me out ppl like you always have..
Thanks soooo much for your time!

A: get the camry LE, it has great appearance, comfort, performance and its dependable. it’ll last you years to come.

Q: 2008 Camry vs. 2008 Honda Civic?
or 2007 models

which one should I get and why?

A: Honda’s are better on gas, but Camry’s are better on quality. My mom hardly has problems with hers. Hondas don’t last long.

Q: 2008 Toyota Camry vs. 2008 Honda Civic?
Pros and Cons of both please :]

A: You can’t really compare them, they are a lot different in sizes and features. A Civic will be a lot cheaper. Have you looked at the Nissan Altimas? They are bigger than a Civic but better looking than a Camry and IMO just as good of a car.

http://www.nissanusa.com/altima/

Q: camry v6 vs. honda accord or civic?
Im getting a new car soon. I want a good daily driver car, but one that has the power I need when I want it. And I want a good aftermarket supply of performance parts.Should I get a toyota Camry 3.5 v6, a coupe accord v6 or an Si Civic?

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carquotes.sinfree.net

Q: Toyota Corolla vs Camry?
Looking to buy a reliable car that I can drive for a while through college. Looking to buy a car with about 120k miles… trying to find the difference in reliability between the corolla vs camry and some differences? Also, where does a Honda Civic fit in this picture?

A: There is no difference in reliability between the Camry and the Corolla.

The Camry is a midsized car and is larger, roomier, and tends to have more options.

The Corolla is smaller and is considered a Compact. It will get a little better Gas Mileage because it’s smaller. But will have less options.

The Civic and the Corolla are both Compacts and compete for the same market.

Q: I am stuck between two choices for cars, i am trying to choose between an 98 Audi A4 turbo or a older than 93?
audi a4 turbo 98 or 98 passat turbo vs an older corolla, camry, civic, accord like 93 and b4…im looking for a cheap car which will be used for about 2 years which one would be the best choice. the audi is more exensive by 1 grand

A: I would not buy a 10 year old Audi or VW turbo. If that compressor gave out the cost of repair would be more than you paid for the car.

That’s not a risk I’d be willing to take.

Q: Is Jeep good at speed?
who will win in d race Jeep Wrangler VS Mustang, Camry, Scion TC,Solstice, Murano, 350z, Eclipse, Rx8, H3 or Civic…
Jeep VS …………..?

A: I’ll take the 350Z

Q: Toyota or Honda? (also pick the one you like best down in the “details” section.)?
1. Toyota Camry vs. Honda Accord
2. Toyota Sienna vs. Honda Odyssey
3. Toyota Corolla vs. Honda Civic
4. Toyota Sequoia vs. Honda Pilot
5. Toyota Rav4 vs. Honda CR-V
6. Toyota Tundra vs. Honda Ridgeline
Mine would look like this-
1. Accord
2. Sienna
3. Civic
4. Sequoia
5. CR-V
6. Tundra

Your answer should be in that format. THANKS!

A: 1. Toyota Camry vs. Honda Accord
The 2 door Accord is very nice and the 2007 Camry is very aggressive looking. Winner – Tie

2. Toyota Sienna vs. Honda Odyssey
Who wants to pay $40,000+ for a minivan(Sienna). The Odyssey actually looks pretty cool for a minivan. Winner – Odyssey

3. Toyota Corolla vs. Honda Civic
Civic is the best without a doubt. The new civic SI has 197hp and a six speed tranny. Oh yeah i forgot “Car of the Year (2006)” From Motor Trend Magazine Winner – Civic

4. Toyota Sequoia vs. Honda Pilot
These arent really in the same class. The Sequoia is huge. The Pilot is Midsized. With gas prices over $3.00 a gallon, Winner – Pilot

5. Toyota Rav4 vs. Honda CR-V
These are a matter of personal taste. I really dont like either of them very much. They are just the basic very small suv-ish thing. Winner – Tie

6. Toyota Tundra vs. Honda Ridgeline
The Ridgeline won MotorTrends “Truck of the Year” this year. It says a lot about a company when the first time they make a new type of product (a truck in hondas case) it makes it better than everything else out there. It beat trucks like Dodge Dakota, Ford Ranger, Nissan Frontier, Chevy Colorado and a few others. Its kinda sad cause these companies have been making trucks for decades.

I prefer Hondas over Toyotas. I know alot about both of the companies and Honda is my favorite car maker overall. For a company thats probably about a third the size of its competitor (Toyota). Honda holds its own. Not only do they keep up with toyota but honda actually has quite a few competitors that have copied more that one of their innovations. For instance VTEC means Variable valve Timing with lift Electronic Control. This is a design that varies the valve timing and not only creates horse power but increases fuel effeciency. If you notice on almost all cars now they have some sort of variable valve timing. Honda invented it. These other companies just dont call it VTEC, they call it CVVT amongst other names. Honda also was the first company to produce an engine that made more than 100hp per liter. That engine is in the Honda S2000.

Q: GM vs Toyota Part 1?
i really dont understand why would anyone buy a car from Toyota instead of one made by Chevy. The new Malibu is much better than Camry and Accord. And the Cobalt is better than the Civic or Corolla. The Aveo is better than Fit and Yaris. Then tell me why are you still not buying from GM?

A: gm may make cars tha look nice but when it comes down to it, theyre reliability and resale value sucks, a honda or toyota have 10 times better resale values and would run longer in my opinion.

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.yoll.net

Q: toyota camry vs. chevy malibu vs. honda accord vs. hyundai sonota vs. mitsubishi galant vs. ford taurus?
hi everybody! im looking to buy a new car to replace my toyota camry. so far i test drove the new toyota camry and honda accord. i dont like the look of the toyota or the honda. i want a V6 with an automatic. ive seen pics of the new malibu and i love it. gonna test it wednesday. the taurus is a really good solid safe car but it reminds me of my grandfather. some friends told me to stay away from all hyundai cars but i have a friend who works for a dealership and she can get me a big discount. my sister had a mitsubishi galant and she liked it. any suggestions would help.

A: I like the new accord very much. I drove my brothers and its smooth and powerful but its not a chick car. The Mistu is not that great. I had a Hyundai Veracruz and it was a piece of junk. The warranty is a joke and the dealers rip you off. Buy anything but a Hyundai. The Ford is a great car but youre right its a old fart car. Go with the Accord its always a best bet but don’t forget to drive the Malibu cause I have read a lot of great things about it.

Q: Toyota Camry vs. Chevy Malibu..who wins?
The Malibu seems to kick some butt with its reliability ratings on JD Power…but so does Camry.

When it comes to reliability, who wins this fight?

A: Toyota of course. I’m only 12 and I know that.

Q: 2000 Toyota Camry vs. 2003 Chevy Malibu?
I am considering purchasing the following the malibu is a 2003 LS V6 with 147,000 miles it needs nothing and the Camry is a 2000 LE V6 with 138,000 miles the camry has a dent in the door and the power mirrors don’t work and the check engine light is on because oxygen sensors. I need to know which one is the better value both are $3500 and which one will last longer

A: Really depends on the maintenance history of the vehicles…personally I would want neither due to the more expensive to repair and lower mpg of the V6, but that’s just me :}

Q: Malibu LT2 Vs Nissan Altima ‘08 Vs Toyota Camry ‘07?
Hello Guys,

I have a tough choice, i am looking for a family sedan with following choice:
1) Malibu LT2 – Mid 2009, 30K, 2.4 L, 4 cyl., leather interior, sunroof, alloys, 17-18 Grands from chevy dealer
2) Nissan Altima- 07-08, 60 K, base with convenience, alloys, 2.4 L, 4 cyl, 16 grands, nissan dealer
3) Toyota Camry – 07 Sports, 80 K, Leather, Sunroof, alloys, 3.0 L, 6 cyl. 17-18 Grands, toyota dealer

Which is a better choice, we previously owned all Japanese cars (Camry, Accord, Venza) but is it worth giving Chevy a try. I personally like the looks of Malibu and its more loaded and newer but not sure how well it goes down with time. I am planning to keep it for 3-5 years. Considering the Insurance Malibu costs least and Altima most with roughly 15$ difference each. Any personnel experience with these vehicles is appreciated.

A: The biggest challenge you face with owning Malibu and Camry is resale value. Both are particularly poor depreciators, even used ones, and especially since Camry has now been subjected to such widespread recall on top of the most recent version being the least favorably received and most criticized for its dramatic cheapening of interior materials and being rather uninspired, showing the extent to which Toyota has begun taking its reputation, and customers, for granted.

Just in the past week alone, residual values for recalled model year Camrys have dropped by 1-3% alone. Malibu is a much-improved GM vehicle, but largely because improving upon GM’s vehicles was no great achievement. Of the three, Altima would be the best choice.

In the same class, the real head-and-shoulders standout would be the current Ford Fusion which happened to be the 2010 Motor Trend Car of the Year. In addition to being the best vehicle by far, all of the other beneficial reasons for supporting Ford happen to come with it. Fit and finish are far superior to either Malibu or Camry; and once you’ve driven a vehicle with SYNC voice/media control, you won’t want to drive another without it.

One of the things you should weigh MOST carefully, especially given that you are considering recent model year vehicles, is that quality used vehicles have never been in greater demand and shorter supply and are therefore more relatively highly priced than they’ve ever been. And this happens to be at the very time that new car makers and dealers have never been more motivated to sell new vehicles with unprecedented negotiating room, rebates and incentives. Many car shoppers are unaware that it’s actually possible to buy a brand new vehicle for as little (or even less, in some circumstances) than a low-mileage used equivalent. Auto site Edmunds wrote a recent article summarizing a study they conducted about the phenomenon:

http://blogs.edmunds.com/greencaradvisor/2009/03/some-new-cars-cheaper-than-used-now-hybrids-included-edmunds-study-finds.html

Not only do you get the benefits of a full manufacturer’s warranty (and the option to purchase an extended warranty at the lowest price point), but some of the “good” fallout from the recent upheaval in the auto industry is that makers really loaded-up their 2010 product (introduced during 2009) to increase the value proposition and spur sales.

Whether the standard equipment compliment or the quality and variety of options available, vehicles brought to market after the first part of 2009 are generally dramatically better, ESPECIALLY among GM and Ford products, and Ford has had a 3 year headstart, having begun their own turnaround by their own bootstraps in 2006. Even if you spend an additional $1,000-$2,000, you’ll probably find it goes particularly far in terms of how much more car you get for your money by virtue of simply advancing to a newer model year, in addition to all of the additional good you’ll do for the American economy by buying a new, rather than used, vehicle.

Best of luck. I hope this helps.

Q: Toyota Camry vs Lexus ES 350
Hello, Can anyone who has driven the camry and the lexus ES 350 tell me the differance between the two?. Because I really like the lexus but it’s pretty pricey and if the camry drives and handles like it then I’d sooner get the camry. But I would like anyones epinion. I have looked at the new 2008 malibu and found the head room to be a bit low so it didn’t work out but I really need a car thats very comfortable and smooth. Thanks.

A: The Lexus is worth the extra money. Although the Lexus shares the same platform as the Camry, the engine is tuned for slightly better performance and it has about 12 more horsepower than the “same” engine in the Camry.

Also, the interior fit-n-finish and material used in the ES is much better than a Camry.

So, question comes down to, do you think there is $10K worth of additional “luxury” in a Lexus than a Camry? Is fit-n-finish, more luxurious feel, and the badge worth $10K more? To me, if I’m keeping it for the rest of it’s life… yes. If I’m just going to hold onto it for say a few years and sell… maybe not.

Q: 03 camry vs 05 mallibu…?
im looking get one of two cars, they are around the same price. the first is an 03 toyota camry with 80 thousand miles, the other is an 05 chevy malibu w 35thou. i know toyotas have a good reputation, and i dont know much about the malibus. i dont care about what looks cooler or whatever, im a single mom with two kids and just want somthing that will last and get good gas mileage. they are both four cyl. please give me some input! thanks!

A: id go with the camry, the malibu is horrible when it comes to reliability and re sale value. you can also consider looking for a honda accord, im sure you can find one for the same price range as the camry, camry or accord are the way to go – most reliable and best resale value

Q: Saturn Aura VS Chevy malibu?
Test drove an 08 Malibu today, I really liked it. So quiet. Better then an 04 Camry I used to have. The Sales guy told me it was the same as a Saturn Aura. I bought a used car @ a Saturn dealer once, liked the way they did business. So my question is, is there really any differance between the 2 cars?

A: Well, it’s not a matter of rebadging here, it’s a matter of GM’s new ‘platform engineering’.
They are different cars.
The Malibu is more well-rounded while the Aura is sportier. The Aura will handle better, but won’t ride quite as comfortably.
The Aura doesn’t have all of the special sound-deadening equipment of the Malibu either.
But they are both built on the same platform.
So yes, the difference is there, and it’s fairly significant–the two cars are not interchangeable. But maybe you want to go drive the Aura and see if you like it.

Q: Which is the most reliable sedan car ?
Which is the most reliable sedan car? Honda Accord VS Nissan Altima vs Toyota Camry vs Chevy Malibu? Any other contender?
I’m looking into buying a brand new sedan..

A: Don’t know for sure but….

I just replaced my 1988 Honda Accord got it new 20 years ago…did the normal maintenance…8 mufflers….lifetime guarantee on the first one…those guys were damn tired of me…replace the replaceables…and it still ran great when I sold it for 1100.00 The only reason its not in my garage now is no air bags..bought a Honda Accord EX 6 cyl…all the bells and whistles..2002 79K on it for 10500…I plan to drive it another 200,000 miles…just a thought…

Q: 2008 Malibu LT2 vs 2008 Accord EX (Canadian Models)?
After a long search of midsize cars I have narrowed it down to these 2 cars, detailed opinions of why you prefer one over the other are appreciated. Camry is not here because it is too conservative, and every other person has one. Thanks
Yes I did look at and test drive the new Altime and it is impressive but the drive isnt as good as the Malibu. The engine doest sound as good, the steering is way too light…and in general the Malibu interior is better…thats my opinion of course….the Malibu was surprisingly VERY nice to drive and I have driven many many cars

A: I would buy the Malibu. It is cheaper and not nearly as common. Also, you won’t feel like a statistic when you buy it.

Q: Why do people rate this answer negative???
Last year Toyota had the most recalls, but the media “failed” to notice since millions would stand against them because of thier reputation. These days reputation is nothing, technology advances so fast it cant keep up. For ex: three years ago GM was one of the worst companies, now they have the most top-rated vehicles, and the quality/reliability surpasses Toyota. Honda is still on top of the reliability ratings. Ford also had more recalls than GM and DaimlerChrysler combined, for reasons like exploding engines and wheels falling off. Here is a quote from the Washington Posts review of the Toyota CAmry “one of which is the Chevrolet Malibu, which in my real-world driving experience has been every bit as good and reliable as the much-ballyhooed Camry but has been maligned primarily because it is a Chevrolet”. Oddly enough that was an ‘04 Malibu VS the totally redisigned ‘07 Camry. Common problems with Toyotas are plastic rattling until it falls off. People then complain that when they take it to the dealer to be fixed they just say “The cars are made with so much plastic its practically impossible to fix” GM is also the worlds fastest growing manufacturer, and that dosent happen by accident.
Jay, you need to focus on TODAYS models. Chevys used to be pieces of s***, but they sacraficed the advertising budget and put the money into developing. If you test a new GM you will know just how much this has payed off. Malibus ARE rental cars, it is the Impala that faces the Camry and Accord, and Impala sales are growing faster than any other comparable model. GM dominates the SUV segment, getting the awards from Consumer REports, and JD Power ranks the Tahoe higher than Toyota Sequia,in overall quality, and ties in every other class. GMs interiors are the most improved part of thier vehicles. Just step in a new Suburban or Tahoe, they are nicer than any Toyota. WHO CARES how companies scored on an ‘03-’04 test, people wnat to know about NOW, in which the Saturn Aura is the best. If you saw one, and drove it you would know why. All of Gm’s new models beat thier competitions. I have done my home work, now Jay needs to update his.
Stewpid, OLD Chevys rattled, the new ones dont. You also dont think Toyotas are rattle free?

“Common problems with Toyotas are plastic rattling until it falls off. People then complain that when they take it to the dealer to be fixed they just say “The cars are made with so much plastic its practically impossible to fix”~ Quoted from above. Select lowest-highest, any car that fills two out of five pages with negative reviews is not that good. Now compare it to the reviews of the comparable Saturn Aura and see what is really a better car. http://research.cars.com/go/crp/research.jsp?year=2007&makeid=43&modelid=8377&section=consumerreviews#reviews

A: Those cars are good cars so long as they are kept up. The question is hidden somewhat but the answer is this – No one wants to wade though the ups and downs of the entire industry to decide whether to give an honest or clever answer. Every year you can say, they don’t make ‘em the way they used to.

Check out the full comparison: 2010 Toyota Camry vs 2010 Hyundai Sonata at LemonFree.com

Q: Sonata vs Camry vs Accord?
Pick one and tell me why:
Sonata 2011-redesigned
Camry
Accord
I will buy my car in May, I know that the camry was recalled.
Do you have a suggestion for another car model/brand?

A: Since nobody has seen the redesigned Sonata up close yet it’s hard to say if it will surpass the segment leading Camry and Accord in sales.

If the indications are accurate it will be very compelling fight and if it does fall behind in sales it won’t be because of it’s engineering, performance, quality or reliability. One thing the new Sonata has is a style that the public will either love or hate. Not like the ultra conservative Accord that doesn’t offend anyone.

Hyundai is a company out to make a name for itself and this car (along with the Genesis) will help Hyundai at least level the playing field and bring them the respect they deserve. They are no longer considered cheap Korean toss away cars.

Q: Toyota Camry vs Hyandai Sonata?
I am looking to buy my first car, it is going to be used as I cannot afford a new one. I have used an employer provided car for the past several years and need/want to get my own. I cant go with a cheesy car as I will be driving kids, so a good crash test rating and big backseat are a must. I was originally pretty much set on the Camry, my sister has an old one that has been great and I love the new design. Than I started researching and found that a lot of people say its not as good as it was and some people even stated transmission problems! Than I came across the Sonata and it seems to offer all the perks of a Camry at roughly $2000 less. The crash test isnt an all around 5 star that the Camry is but its definatly good anyway. Also I can’t afford any more than an 07 Camry and even that is pushing my budget, but I can easily find an 08 Sonata for less money. So are there things I’ve missed? Is it still better to go with a Camry? Thanks for any feedback

Laslty, I will be buying from a reputable dealer like Carmax or such. So I know the car will be in good shape
I have looked at other cars and found things like the backseat is small, or the crashtest ratings are less than good, things like that. My sister has a Ford and as nice a car as it is, the resale stinks! I know Hyandai dosnt hav an awsome reputation but havent they been improved?

A: I would go with a Sonata and have it checked out by a mechanic before I buy well worth the money

Q: camry vs. accord vs. sonata vs. fusion vs. altima?

A: I have a 2006 Fusion SEL. Hate It !!! Had it less than a year and am taking a loss to get rid of it. The driver cannot see rear view because seat backs and back dash are too high. I am constantly scared I will wreck while backing up, and you cannot see the road behind you.
A friend also has a Fusion, she doesn’t like hers either. Used car dealer I know said the Fusion and Camry are the 2 cars he cannot sell.

Q: camry vs. accord vs. fusion vs. altima vs. sonata?
please help me decide

A: Many options to consider. You can go to the manufacturer’s websites and have brochures for each car mailed to you which include all the models standard and optional equipment and it tells you what trim level it comes on. Also, the Camry and Altima were redesigned for 2007. The Altima comes standard with push button start and dual chrome exhaust. The Fusion is nice, but the interior is kind of bad compared to the others. The Accord is being redesigned for 2008 so it should have good deals at the end of the year. The Fusion is the only model with AWD.

The Altima and Camry have big V6 engines with good MPG. Also, the 4-cyl engines have very high mpg.

Altima and Camry are available as Hybrids.

My best bet would be the Altima.

Q: Hyundai vs Toyota?
Hyundai has successfully beaten honda in reliability and quality for the past two years and have there guns on Toyota next!

Who here believes Hyundai will surpass Toyota?
Here are some Hyundai victories
hyundai azera vs toyota avalon
winner:hyundai azera
hyundai sonata vs toyota camry
victor:Hyundai sonata

Hyundai is also beating Toyota in driver satsifaction too.

So I think it will be a matter of time before this Korean juggernaut surpasses Toyota in reliability they just have one more step then Toyota is done.

Those Koreans are really starting to mess up the Japanese perception that only Japanese can make reliable
cars.Same with Samsung and Sony!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder how long it will take for Hyundai to have a good consumer perception after all they having been making garbage until year 2002!!!
I drive Benzes and Toyotas,Toyotas are good Hyundais are good but Benzes are great! My Camry had an air conditioning problem and a transmssion problem but I dont say Toyotas are trash on the one assumption, other than those two faults my Toyota is very reliable!

A: One thing is that Toyota develops a good product and sticks with it. Name one which was of a bad design. I’ve had a 89 camry with 500,000 miles on it and never had to replace any engine parts except the filters, and battery. I also had a 89 corolla with 300,000 miles with the same situation. I had a 99 civic and put 200,000 miles on it with no problems at all.

Did you know that the same engine which was in my 89 camry was also used in the 1996-2000 Rav 4. Over 10 years with an engine design.

I can’t say the same with Hyundai given their track record. My cousin had a 90 excel, which at the time was supposed to be compatible to a corolla. It never made it past 120,000 miles before the engine just quit. Others have had the same problems. That is why its rare to find a 80s and early 90s Hyundai on the road, unlike the many Toyotas and Hondas we pass by everyday on our way to work.

Another thing Hyundai is not a new company. They have been around since 1946. Toyota has been around since 1934 and Honda has been around 1948 making motorcycles and didn’t make their first car since 1962. So really if you go by the numbers they should be on equal territory.

Toyota and Honda spent alot of time and money on reasearch while Hyundai spent more time just trying to get a product out on the market.

Yes Hyundai is getting better than they were, but they still don’t compare. Awards mean nothing. Reputation means everything. Alot of vehicles win awards, but how many of them are still on the road after 5-10 years? Any car can be given a reliability award with only 2 years of operation. So that award is just pulling a name out of a hat. The way it should be judged is the after 5 year mark and the after 300,000 mile mark. Then lets see who tops the list.

Q: Toyota Corolla vs Nissan Altima or Toyota Camry vs Nissan Maxima?

A: The maxima sucks and it is a waste of money, also the camry is just expensive, but the altima is the best rated full size family car for everything, and corolla is the best sport compact car there is!!!

Q: toyota camry vs toyota corolla?
which would be a better car choice for a college student?
im going to college and my parents want to buy me a good car.
i want it to be reliable, durable, and economic.

A: both are reliable, durable, and economic. the corolla is a little cheaper and gets better gas mileage. However, the camry is larger and more luxurious and is faster. I personally have a corolla and I think it’s a perfect car as far as reliability, it has never had any serious problems. If its about the money, I’d go with the Corolla because its cheaper and gets better gas mileage, but if you want a little more of a luxury car, I’d go with the Camry

Q: 2009 Camry vs 2009 Impala vs 2010 Corolla?
I’m 19 years old with an annual income of $40,000. I’m looking at buying 1 of 3 cars as my first car ever.

2009 Chevy Impala – 38,000 miles – $10,998 – No warranty.
2009 Toyota Camry – 15,000 miles – $13,988 – Warranty.
2010 Toyota Corolla – 9,000 miles – $13,288 – Warranty.

I want something that will be reliable but also fun to drive and overall a nice car. I’m leaning towards the Impala or Camry…and the Camry is nice since it has low miles and a warranty. What should I pick? I want something with a big comfortable interior and something that will be reliable

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: whats the rating of Kia cars compared to Toyotas. Ie Kia Spectra vs Toyoyta Camry and or corolla?

A: Well one is Korean, and the other is Japanese. From experience I can tell you that Japanese cars are FAR superior to their Korean counterparts, whatever be the make or model. The ONLY reason to buy a Korean car would be if you wanted to save some money INITIALLY!! I say “initially” because though the Koreans offer cheaper prices and longer “warranties” (you’ll need the warranties – trust me!), depreciation, glitches, reliability issues, etc. will eventually make you sorry you even THOUGHT about a Korean nameplate! As far as ratings by so-called experts, the Kia’s are middling, as compared to the Toyotas, which are geared towards safety, reliability, functionality, etc.

Hope this answered your question???

Q: Toyota corolla vs. Mazda 3 Vs. Toyota Camry?
Well i know that the Camry is not in the same class and stuff but which would you get based on reliability, looks, gas milage, and comfort?

A: To Redondo…….BMW is a good car. I would buy a 3 series with sport package in a heartbeat…..Mini No

Dodge Challenger…the car is too heavy and the steering is too numb…not a fun car to drive, probably a Camaro would be better…

Now for Question:

If your looking for Comfort & Reliability then Camry wins
If your looking for Reliability & Fuel Economy then Corolla wins
If your looking for fun car to drive around then Mazda wins

Camry & Corolla, obviously them being a Toyota, are reliable

Camry will definitely run smooth and quiet, so far it has one of the best shocks I’ve ever come across, it rides all holes on the roads without hesitating.

Corolla is not too bad, just a little noisy when overtaking, not a bad car

Mazda, (similar to Ford Focus) as a previous owner of 3, I didn’t like it that much, because it was a PIT MONEY, all it did was cause problems after problems, sure I did do all the services but it still had too much problems……Mazda was a fun car to drive but reliability its not worth it….sometimes the engine does get pretty loud, it has no way to run silent….And pricing is another problem, you will have to upgrade it to get some basic things….(I didn’t have power windows, I had to pay extra $500 just to get that…)

Test drive all three and see which one you prefer….Good Luck!

Q: Who whould win? Honda Accord Sedan 2008 vs. Toyota Corolla sedan 2008?
I watched a video and the Honda Accord Sedan 2008 beat the Toyota ‘Camry’ sedan 2007.

But i want to know who would win if it was the Honda Accord Sedan 2008 vs. the Toyota “Corolla” sedan 2008. ( its corolla, not camry)

And please dont pick toyota corolla as winner JUST because it uses less gas. Thanks for replies.
Also give me the answer, not your opinion. I want to know which one IS better, not just in your opinion.
Also give me the answer, not your opinion. I want to know which one IS better, not just in your opinion cause you like it better.
Also give me the answer, not your opinion. I want to know which one IS better, not just in your opinion cause you like one better.
Fine, can i compare Honda Accord sedan 2008 to the Toyota Civic 2008 sedan.
oh sorry. silly me. theres no such thing as toyota civic. Watever then. hah.

A: okay, this isnt a really good comparison, an accord would compare with a camry but anyways……

1) the corolla comes with only a option of the1.8l 4cyl engine while you have the option of the 2.4l 4cyl engine and a 3.5l 6cyl engine in a accord.

2)the price is a huge difference, the MRSP for the corolla LE is about $16,000 and the MRSP for the accord EX $25,000

3)the gas isnt that much different the corolla gets 26/35 (city/highway) and the accord gets 21/31

i mean overall the cars are totally different so if you need a bigger sedan you are better off getting the accord
in my opinion i would definitely have to say the accord is better!

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.yoll.net

Q: Fusion AWD vs. Accord and Camry FWD. How could this possibly be competitive or comparative?
How can Ford really do a comparison, taking an all-wheel drive car and putting it against 2 front wheel drive cars? I’m in Illinois and can say I’ve never even seen an AWD Fusion on the street. How about taking the FWD V6 Fusion and doing the same comparison with the FWD V6 Accord and Camry? I can’t see that ever happening because you’d have to first add vehicle stability and traction control at a cost to the consumer to the Fusion and Camry. Accord is the only car with this being standard. Why, if this is a big safety feature, wouldn’t it be standard and not an option?

A: It’s a pure marketing stunt for a company which is one step away from bankruptcy thanks to building gas guzzling vehicles that nobody wanted.

The new Camry and soon to be new Accord make more HP than the Fusion and have better styling than the Fusion. Now, only Honda needs to put the Accord in NASCAR and no American model will ever win again….

A: Ford Fusion, support America!

Q: Ford Fusion vs. Toyota Camry?
Which one would you buy? I don’t want any of the American patriotic thing. I want opinions on performance and reliability.

A: obviously toyota is more reliable. but bc ford had all these issues, it will definitely be way cheaper to buy a ford and maybe they are built more reliable this time around. Toyota would have a longer life span for sure. only thing that’s annoying about Toyota’s is that you have to pay for every single button. Unlike other cars where standard things are standard in the car, they are not standard in Toyota’s. For example power windows which is hideous. Maybe you should do a german car instead!

Q: What is your driving lifestyle ?
This is just my own personal survey. Please answer as much as you can. Much appreciated.

1. Your age?
2. Do you drive, and is it your own car?
3. Is (or was) the car financed, or leased?
4. What model is it (Toyota, Honda, Ford, etc.)?
5. What trim is it (Camry, Accord, Fusion, etc.)?
7. What year model is it?
8. How many miles on there currently?
9. Did you get it new or used (incl. Certified Pre-Owned)?
10. Do you like your car, or do you regret having it?
11. What will your next car be (that is, used vs. new, and make, model, and body trim) ?
12. Are you an aggressive driver or easy driver?

Thanks again.

A: 1. 30
2. Yes, yes it is.
3. Yes it is financed.
4. Nissan

Q: Toyota Camry vs Nissan Altima?
Im getting a new car for graduation.
either a Nissan Altima or a Toyota Camry. Both 2007 models.

What is more reliable, what looks better for a high school graduate?

A: NISSAN ALTIMA by far. i have the 2007 model. its a 3.5( rare ) its FAST, its cool. good gas milage. nice ride. reliable. mine is all black with black tints.

i love this car—so much power, under a small sedan.

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1234/1000758883_84dd438cf0_o.jpg

(not mine–sigh! i have yet to take pics of mine)

@ the LONG answer bellow me: the 2007 Nissan Altima 3.5 is in fact SPORTY. please do use google if u dont know.
here is a link…

http://www.insideline.com/nissan/altima/2007/full-test-2007-nissan-altima-35-se.html

and a quote from THAT link:
With a mildly updated version of the evergreen VQ35 3.5-liter V6, the Altima now sports 270 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque at 4,400 rpm. There’s not much to say about this impressive engine that hasn’t been said already — it delivers its husky, broad powerband without ruffling your Dockers, albeit with a clearly audible purr.

SAME WEBSITE link for the 2007 Camry

Q: 2010 Toyota Camry vs 2009 Nissan Altima vs 2009 Acura TSX?
Which would you buy. 2010 Toyota Camry vs 2009 Nissan Altima vs 2009 Acura TSX?

The Acura
Has the nicest inside.
1 year longer basic warranty.
You get the Nav for the 29,000 price tag.
However too small a back seat for an adult person to sit.
Pick up not the best.

The Nissan
Best looking outside.
need the v6 to get the Stability control.
At about 28,000 for the v6, but no Nav.
Best pick up. Smooth shifting.
Best engine with the infinity connection.

The Camry
Low-grade interior plastics
Quality mechanics.
A bit cheaper then the others.

A: All good cars Acura TSX is available with V-6 engine too. Infinity had no part in the Nissan VQ-35DR motor CVT trans is smooth. Camry is one of Toyota’s best selling cars. Also In the nissan a huge fuel tank 20.3 gallons. Have you shopped the Honda Accord?

Q: accord vs altima vs camry?
hey guys,
I’m thinking of getting a new car, i have two choices, or eve three.
Honda Accord, Nissan altima, or toyota camry.
I drive a g35 and would throw that as down. My current car is giving me some problems and i like to get rid of it before it gets serious.
Is it worth it to get a v4 in those three cars? will it eat less gas or will it be about the same since its a smaller engine with a bigger body.
What do you guys think?

A: They all have pros and cons.

The Toyota Camry is super reliable. The ride is really smooth, and the transmission lasts for a lifetime.

The Honda Accord is sporty, smooth, but it is known for transmission problems.

The Altima has mixed reviews. The g35 is based on the altima, so if you dont like the g, dont get the alitma.

I think your better off getting a camry, if you looking for a long term car, or the accord if yoru looking for a sportier car

and get a v4 in asian cars. V6 is just asking for worse gas mialge, AND more problems in the longrun

Q: Toyota Camry Vs Nissan Altima Vs Honda Accord ( confused )?
Hi , I am planning to buy a used car 2001 – 2003 models. I am too confused to go for which one of the following :

Toyota Camry ( 2001 – 2003 models)
Nissan Altima ( 2001 – 2003 models)
Honda Accord ( 2001 – 2003 models)

I want to use the car for coming 3 years . Suggestions required from owners who have owned any of the TWO cars in the past and can really tell me which one was/is the best .

Thanks for the time to read this. You guys have a great day..

Regards

San

A: I own a 2005 Honda Accord EX V6 coupe, which is the same as the 2003, and has the same interior as the EX-L sedan, top of the line. I cannot say how much I love my car. It has just over 105,000 miles on it, and has not had 1 single problem. All I do is keep up on maintenance, and that is it. The powerful V6 VTEC engine is incredible, and the comfort and conveinence of the interior is great. I cannot think of any reason not to buy this car. But the 2003 year was the 1st year of that redesign, so if you can offered it , I would not bother looking at hte 01 or 02 Accords, unless they are much much cheaper.
The Toyota Camry is a very nice car as well, I am just biased because I own a Honda. The Altima is way, way behind when it comes to both interior quality and total reliability. The interior of the Altima feels more like a Kia or something. Also, the Nissan company has been getting better on reliability and overall quality, but it has not yet matched either Toyota or Honda.
Another car not on your list worth checking out is the Subaru Legacy. I would highly recommend this car over the other 3 if you live in an area where it snows in the winter. Subaru has a top of the line AWD system, along with the same level of reliability as Toyota and Honda. Unfortunately the newest remodel was in 2005 and Subaru’s hold a very high resale value, so you may have to get the 2nd newest generation, which goes from 01-04 I believe. They are great vehicles though.

Good Luck!

Q: 1998 Camry vs 2001 Altima?
between these 2 cars, which do you think is best?

what do u think?
thanx

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carquotes.sinfree.net

Q: Camry vs. Accord vs. Altima?
Looking to get a 2010 of the above in V6 w/leather, moonroof, std rims. Which is the best in class in terms of speed, reliability, warranty, prestige, aesthetics, etc and WHY??

Also which has the best incentive to buy this time of year?

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: 2008 CAMRY VS. 2008 ALTIMA ?
It’s my first brand new car. I am a teenager and my parents want to buy me a brand new car with zero miles and these are the two choices. Which should I choose and why?

I would have chose the Camry but I see a bunch of senior citizens driving them and I am just a teenager! So which one is better?

Please serious answers only. Don’t say “you should be driving a $300 car”. These are my choices–my parents choices.

Thanks in advance. Best answer with best reasoning gets 10 pts.

I am only 17 so its looks are important.

A: Camry. And here’s why:

Safety

For enhanced safety, the front shoulder belts of the Toyota Camry are height adjustable, and the rear seat shoulder belts have child comfort guides to move the belt to properly fit children. A better fit can prevent injuries and the increased comfort also encourages children to buckle up. The Nissan Altima Sedan has only front height adjustable seat belts.

The Toyota Camry has Daytime Running Lights to help keep it more visible under all conditions. Canadian government studies show that driving with lights during the day reduces accidents by 11% by making vehicles more conspicuous. The Altima Sedan doesn’t offer Daytime Running Lights.

Both the Camry and the Altima Sedan have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, front wheel drive, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four wheel antilock brakes and available electronic stability systems to prevent skidding. Only the Camry has a driver’s knee airbag.

Warranty

There are over 11 percent more Toyota dealers than there are Nissan dealers, which makes it easier to get service under the Camry’s warranty.

Engine

As tested in Motor Trend the Toyota Camry V6 is faster than the Altima V6 (automatics tested):

Camry
Altima Sedan

Zero to 30 MPH
2.2 sec
2.7 sec

Zero to 60 MPH
6 sec
6.6 sec

Zero to 80 MPH
9.8 sec
10.7 sec

Zero to 100 MPH
15.3 sec
16.9 sec

Quarter Mile
14.5 sec
15 sec

Speed in 1/4 Mile
97.5 MPH
94.8 MPH

Fuel Economy and Range

On the EPA test cycle the Camry V6 gets better fuel mileage than the Altima CVT V6 (19 city/28 hwy vs. 19 city/26 hwy).

To lower fuel costs and make buying fuel easier, the Toyota Camry uses regular unleaded gasoline. The Altima Sedan 3.5 requires premium for maximum efficiency, which can cost 25 to 50 cents more per gallon.

Environmental Friendliness

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certifies the Toyota Camry at emission levels ranging from “Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle” (SULEV) to “Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle” (PZEV). The Nissan Altima Sedan is only certified to “Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle” (SULEV) standards.

Brakes and Stopping

The Camry stops much shorter than the Altima Sedan:

Camry
Altima Sedan

80 to 0 MPH
223 feet
242 feet
Road & Track

70 to 0 MPH
170 feet
180 feet
Car and Driver

60 to 0 MPH
118 feet
132 feet
Motor Trend

Suspension and Handling

The Camry has standard front and rear gas-charged shocks for better control over choppy roads. The Altima Sedan’s suspension doesn’t offer gas-charged shocks.

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Camry is 1.1 inches wider in the front and .8 inches wider in the rear than on the Altima Sedan.

The Camry SE handles at .83 G’s, while the Altima Sedan HEV pulls only .76 G’s of cornering force in a Road & Track skidpad test.

The Camry SE goes through Road & Track’s slalom 4.8 MPH faster than the Altima Sedan HEV (63.6 vs. 58.8 MPH).

Chassis

As tested by Car and Driver, the interior of the Camry LE is quieter than the Altima Sedan 3.5 SE:

Camry
Altima Sedan

At idle
36 dB
37 dB

Full-Throttle
73 dB
75 dB

70 MPH Cruising
66 dB
70 dB

Passenger Space

The Camry has 2.1 inches more front shoulder room, 1 inch more rear headroom, 2.5 inches more rear legroom, 1.4 inches more rear hip room and 1.4 inches more rear shoulder room than the Altima Sedan.

Servicing Ease

The Camry uses gas struts to support the hood for easier service access. The Altima Sedan uses a prop rod to support its heavy hood. It takes two hands to open the hood and set the prop rod, the prop rod gets in the way during maintenance and service, and the prop rod could be knocked out, causing the heavy hood to fall on the person maintaining or servicing the car.

The Camry has a maintenance free battery for long life without checking the battery’s water level. The Altima Sedan doesn’t have a maintenance free battery, so the water level in the battery’s cells must be checked often to prevent damage.

Ergonomics

The Camry has a standard automatic headlight on/off feature. When the ignition is on, the headlights automatically turn on at dusk and off after dawn. The Altima Sedan only offers an automatic headlight on/off feature as an extra cost option.

With available voice command, the Camry offers the driver hands free control of cell phone and the navigation computer by simply speaking. The Altima Sedan doesn’t offer a voice control system.

Economic Advantages

Insurance will cost less for the Camry owner. The Complete Car Cost Guide estimates that insurance for the Camry will cost $263 less than the Altima Seda

Q: 2009 Cars… Honda Accord Sedan VS Toyota Camry VS Nissan Altima .which is best buy?MSP price is around $2,100?
so any one know which cars is better buy ? please let me know each car pro. and cos. thanx

A: Mazda 6 beats these in head – to – head competition. You get more standard features in the 6, and there are some options that the Mazda offers that the others dont even have.

You need to consider this car if you’re looking in this class. It has traction control, stability control, a larger trunk, more interior room (accord is BARELY bigger inside), etc…than the others.

A: I can give you some advice with 3 of these. I don’t even know what a Ford Fusion looks like (and wouldn’t own a Ford again unless you gave it to me). My siblings own each of the other 3. My favorite is the Camry. Rides and drives superb!! The dash is well laid out, good ergonomics, handles well and good acceleration. The Accord is a very good vehicle too. Drives well and handles well and has good acceleration. The Altima…….. well, i wouldn’t buy one. Unfortunately, Ford is no longer know for “good and well made” products. I use to own Mustangs and F-150’s, but no longer. The Camry has been the best selling car for the last 6-7 years. That says something by itself. Also, Nissan has lost their edge, especially since they started making several models in Canton Mississippi. The Frontier is made there and a friend of mine has a 2006. it already has had problems with tire pressure sensors, sending unit for the fuel gauge, air bag sensor, rattling in the suspension that comes and goes, check engine lights that when i try to pull codes (obd2) there arent any to be found. I like the look of the frontier but won’t buy one because of his experiance as well as others.
I hope i helped and good luck with your decision.

Q: 2010 Acura TSX vs. 2011 Toyota Camry XLE vs. 2010 Nissan Altima 3.5 SR?
Budget is $30k. What would you recommend? A luxury car with tech option (if negotiate really hard) or a completely decked out Camry or Altima? I also really like the space that the Camry and Altima have (and the TSX does not have). However, right now Toyota is offering 0.0% APR for 60 months. Nissan is offering 0.0% APR for 36 months and Acura is offering 0.9% APR for 36 months. Safety comes way before looks and driving experience to me.

Thanks for all the information!

A: All three are safe, the tsx or the altima are more fun to drive than the camry, but the camry has more room and comfort for passengers, so if you have people you need to drive around a lot they will appreciate that most. The acura is much nicer than both, the altima has the cheapest interior, bad plastics and cheap seats, the camry has good materials, but not as good as the tsx. You should really just test drive them all before you make a decision.

Q: 2007 Nissan Altima vs 2007 Toyota Camry?
I just took out a new 2007 nissan altima 2.5 SL but i hear alot of people saying that the camry is better. In my opinion nissan is better than toyota. I want to know the opinion of the people

A: The 07 Altima is all new, as is the 07 Camry. The Camry has a softer ride over the Altima, better mileage, and a 6 speed automatic and is pretty fast with the 3.5 V6. The Altima has push button ignition, a CVT transmission, and in my opinion looks better than the Camry. Toyota has the typical perfect fit and finish, but Nissan has the “excitement” factor. It’s a pretty even comparison, but if it was me buying either of these two cars, it’ll have to be the Altima. That’s because there’s a serious transmission problem with the 07 Camry, and has resulted in 1 death so far.

If you like coupes, the Altima is coming out in a coupe version, and it looks pretty sweet.

Q: 2010 Nissan Altima Vs. 2010 Toyota Camry?
Well i test drove both cars and im deciding to get either 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5SL or a 2010 toyota camry se.im thinking about getting the altima but im not sure cause i heard about the toyota recall plz help

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carquotes.sinfree.net

Q: What is the cost difference in fixing an Acura TL vs. a Honda Accord?
In general how much more is it to fix an Acura? Hondas and Acuras are very similar so I was wondering if it is substantially more to fix a honda. Say the brakes go out or the alternator am I looking at a much bigger bill with the TL over the Accord?

A: A lot of a electrical parts, map sensor, oxygen sensor and so on can cost 2 to 3 times as more than a Honda.

Q: TL vs Accord?
Would you get the Accord EXL with navigation or the base model of the TL.

why would you choose the one over the other?

A: Well Honda makes acura so its kind of the same car. The TL is the highend line of cars I have a TL w/ Nav. & my friend has the accord it both drive the same.

Q: Acura TSX vs TL vs Honda Accord?
Pros and cons of each.
2008 Accord?
And which you guys prefer?

A: Acura TSX- Light, Alot for the Money, Acura Cachet, Honda Reliability, doesn’t seem to surprise anymore, in diar need of redesign

Acura TL- Handsome looks, A big bundle for a small price, relatively fast, BMW 3-Series is more engaging

2008 Honda Accord- Handsome looks, great price, reliability, better value than Acura

Q: 05 TL vs. 06 Accord coupe v6?
I’m looking at used cars with a price range of about $20,000 – $24,000. I narrowed it down to the 05 or 06 TLs vs. 06 or 07 Accord coupe v6. Which one would people recommend over the other?

A: My parents have an 07 TL and it is a nice ride. I personally like the overall appearance inside and out alot better than the accord. You will get some extra bells and whistles with the TL also. The drive train is the same with both of them, and it has plenty of power when you need it,but if you drive lightly you can still get almost 30 mpg. I would definately have to say TL

Q: acura 3.2 tl vs. honda accord?
lookin into a 2003 acura 3.2 tl it is for 11,995 and has 67k and ive also seen a 2004 honda accord cpe that is 11,500 but has 77k i like both even tho im a fan of the honda more but not sure which is a better choice

A: The TL is basically a rebadged Accord as they are built from the same platform and share many parts including the engine (V6 only).

So both are very reliable.

I’d personally get the Acura because it looks much better and you get much better service at the dealership. Some even give you a loaner for maintenance work.

Q: 2004 Acura TL vs. 2007 Honda Accord EX V6?
Thoughts?

In general, I’m looking for a comparison between the Acura TL and the Honda Accord.

A: 2004 TLs are sweet! I have a 2002 with 70k and it still drives like a new one. Accords are nice too but they start showing their age by 45k and 4 years.

Q: (regular gas vs premimum gas) —– Accord V6 or Acura TL?
Which car should I get?
2002 Acura TL V6 225HP
or
2002 Honda Accord V6 200HP

The only thing keeping me from getting the TL is that it uses Premium gasoline, and it will cost me approx $160/year more to drive. is that a good trade off for 25 HP and the luxuries of acura? does Premium make the car last longer and drive better? will it result in higher MPG than the regular gas accord, offsetting the higher price of Premium? help is appreciated. Thanks!
my friend just said the TL’s 5 spd results in higher mpg for the TL, so does this offset the Premium gas Premiums a bit? if so, how much?
never mind, i just checked the MPG ratings and it looks like they are the same. so the 5spd is already calculated into it i believe. disregard the last comment

A: if u can afford a TL go for it. it has better resale value

Q: New 2010 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6 vs. Used 2007 Acura TL?
I am trying to pick one of the two for my next ride but I can’t seem to decide which one to get. They have identical engines and everything, they’re prices are about the same, only difference is one’s a luxury sedan and the other’s a coupe. I don’t have a family so I don’t have many people to drive around so I feel like a coupe could be nice. However, I really like Acura’s interior and look. I’m hesitating on the TL also because I can only afford buying it used so I am a bit paranoid about hidden defects and how the previous owner treated the car. I need some help please, any suggestions or pros and cons of both cars? Thanks in advance.

A: Acura.

Case closed.

Q: Envoy vs Yukon Denali?
Can someone please give me some good insight on these two vehicals. My husband and I have been thinking of trading the Chevy 1500 and the Acura TL in on one. However, I do not know much about them. Just today I learned that a Denali not the name of a car, but that they were a subtype? Like an Accord SI or something. Anyway, I want to know everyones opinions on these. Do they have problems, which ones are better, how is the gas mileage?
Thanks for the help
I do not need a grammer lesson, I know I can not spell very well, personally not to worried about it. Anyway I am looking for a truck. Please help me out.

A: The Denali name first appeared in the late 90’s (99?) as the top-level trim designation for the Yukon. It was later applied to the Envoy SUV and Sierra pickup models. The Envoy (introduced in 2005) in it’s standard form is smaller than the Yukon, and with a 6-cyl engine should provide better fuel economy. The Envoy was also offered in an extended legnth (Envoy XL) with an optional V8. That version was as long as a Yukon, just not as wide. That version would probably deliver the same fuel economy as the Yukon. The Yukon was redesigned in 2000 and again in 2006, so comparisons will depend on the model year.

You don’t say if you’re looking at new or used, but if you’re looking at new vehicles, and you don’t have the need for heavy towing, you may want to consider the recently introduced GMC Acadia. It is as nearly as large as the Yukon, but offers significantly better fuel economy than either the Yukon or Envoy.

Q: Thinking of buying a used car?
This will be my first car, I have been working quite a lot. I saved close to 10k but having really tough time deciding which car to go for. I have several cars in my mind but I can’t decide which one will be best in a long term cost, maintenance, insurance, etc. My max budget is 20k-25k though 25k is pushing it. Here are the list of cars I have checked out/liked.

BMW 528i-2006 and up
Audi A4/A6-2006 and up
Acura TL, TSX- 2007 and 2008
Honda Accord-2008-2009

I really want the BMW 528i but was told the cost to maintenance, parts replacement and repair cost will be a lot? Please answer in details pro vs con to receive 10 points and of course thanks in advanced!
If i were to buy a used car from far, how do i go about taking it to my mechanic before buying it? how does that work? and I’m thinking taking my mechanic go with me?
Thanks all for the answers so far. I’m 23 years old..and i need the car for college, work and hang out–long drive sometimes most likely. I don’t want to push it to 25k. I’ll keep it 10~20k the max. Everyone has been telling me the same about BMW and Audi (Just love those car lol). Few of my friends said I should go with Acura or Honda Accord. In that price range which would be good and what year?

A: For a maximum $25 budget, you would be much better-off buying a new vehicle than subjecting yourself to the risks and repair costs of a new one, especially given that quality used vehicles have never been in greater demand and shorter supply and new vehicles have never been more highly-incentivized and dealers more willing to negotiate, especially as they strive to meet year-end sales objectives.

Your affinity for foreign brands notwithstanding, the very best vehicle you could buy in terms of value, quality, reliability, and performance would be either the 2010 Motor Trend Car of the Year Ford Fusion or the 2010 Ford Taurus. Both are exceptional vehicles that top their class in safety, reliability, and features. Plus, once you’ve driven a vehicle with Ford’s SYNC voice control system, you’ll never want to own another vehicle without it. Even-better values are available if you can find a dealer-driven “demo” vehicle that retains its new car warranty but is sold at a considerable discount.

Ford is building the best vehicles in its history and is besting even the most well-respected brands in reliability and owner satisfaction. In fact, the majority of customers who’ve bought otherwise are those whose biases didn’t allow themselves to even see the world-class vehicles Ford has to offer. Plus, being the only American manufacturer to fund its own renaissance, Ford has not only earned your business, but your consumer dollar has never carried more influence in determining which companies will survive into the future at a time when the American economy needs it most. And make no mistake, an American-brand vehicle built ANYWHERE does more to support the American economy than any one of the many foreign vehicles that happen to be assembled here.

Furthermore, 2009 was the year virtually every manufacturer (especially Ford) pulled-forward product to capitalize on the weak market. This means the 2009/2010 model year Ford vehicles are a full generation ahead of its counterparts who are now rushing to bring their own advanced vehicle technologies to market. Having traded-in a 2006 Mercedes for a 2009 Lincoln, I can tell you first-hand that Ford has come into its own and buying a Ford vehicle no longer requires making compromises in quality or prestige.

Best of luck. I hope this helps.

Q: EAC/LAME ripping question?
I’m using Exact Audio Copy (V0.95 beta4) with LAME (V3.97 beta2) today. I went to re-rip a CD for my husband that was somewhat damaged and didn’t come out to well when he did it with MusicMatch at 128 CBR. He needed a small file size, so I used the V5 setting (specifically, the entire command line was -V 5 –vbr-new –id3v2-only –pad-id3v2 –ta “%a” –tt “%t” –tg “%m” –tl “%g” –ty “%y” –tn “%n” %s %d).

This should have given me a bitrate ranging from 110-150, averaging 130, according to Hydrogenaudio. The bitrates I saw in the lower left corner of the LAME window as it encoded were almost all in the 150s, and went as 165 or more. The final file size was 76.7MB, vs 65.8MB for the Music Match rip.

If it means anything to you, the disc was disc #3 from the box set Led Zeppelin.

What’s up with this? Why was most of what I saw above what I thought the upper limit was supposed to be?
I understand it’s variable, as I said V 5 should be in the 110-150 range, but everything I saw was over 150.

A: The reason is that the -V 5 switch sets the relative quality of the file, not a concrete bitrate. It’s basically telling the program you want a decent quality rip but it’s not setting any hard limits, so if the program thinks some parts need high bitrates it will use them. To set a specific maximum bitrate you’d need to use the -B switch. You could also use the -abr to set the average bitrate you want, which will still allow some freedom for the program, but keep it more in a specific range.

Q: Honda Accord vs Nissan maxima vs Toyota avalon?
which of these 3 cars are better i’m looking at performance, comfort, and reliability, and have to look classy (no ricers)

A: Check these out!

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/FirstDrives/articleId=58887

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/Comparos/articleId=123357

The avalon is more aimed at the baby boomer generation.

The Maxima is fast but the reliability is not up to par with the Honda

The newest car and drive mag out tests a few of these cars listed. Its a good read and will help you make your decision

Q: Honda Accord vs Nissan Maxima. What would you choose?
New not used. please give reasons

A: In case you are unaware, these cars are not comparable in the least. The Altima is the Nissan car in the same class as the Accord. It has been since the Altima was first released in the mid-90s. So a correct comparison would be Altima vs Accord as far as NEW cars go…and I would choose the Accord for sure…the new generation is a beautiful car. I did test drive an Altima the other day and was impressed by the power, but the fit and finish was comparable to my much cheaper Nissan Versa. To clarify my answer, the Maxima is Base priced $12,000 more than an Accord…there really is no comparison.

Q: A pre-owned Toyota Avalon VS Nissan Maxima, who has better quality?
A couple of day ago i was asking some people and some of my friends if i got a pre-owned Nissan Maxima(2002-2003)would that be a good vehicle. Everyone has told me yes, but i have also had someone tell me since i was thinking about getting a pre-owned Maxima, i should also try looking into a used Toyota Avalon(2002-2003) What my question is, if i got the Avalon instead of the Maxima would that be a better choice? Eventhough i am looking at the both of them around the same year(2002-2003) the Maxima seems to be more sporty and flasher, and the Avalon seems more luxurious. between both vehicles who has better quality?, and out of the two which one is most likely not to get stolen? because out of my research on the Maxima, i have read some stories of people walking out to their car, and their headlights are stolen, or the car is gone.also i have found out that the Maxima is one of the most stolen sedans out their besides the Accord etc. does the Avalon have the same problem?

A: I have worked in the car business for 8 years and here’s what I can tell you: I can’t tell you the number of calls I’ve gotten from people saying “I want a Honda, Toyota, or a Nissan.” Truthfully, none of the people I’ve met can understand how Nissan got in that group. Best thing we can come up with is that Nissan offers financing to people who probably shouldn’t get financing so they become popular in lower income neighborhoods, which explains why they get stolen more.

If you take a few minutes to research the Avalon and Toyota in general, you’ll find that Toyota leads everyone in terms of quality, reliability, and class. Remember that Toyota makes Lexus? Go with the Avalon. Get a certified model and you get a 7-year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty too.

Q: which car has a more powerful acceleration feeling in it! honda or nissan?
i want to know which car has a more powerful acceleration power! (like a strong tug when you accelerate!) the cars are 2001 honda accord vs 2003 nissan maxima! both are manual transmission!

A: It would have to be the Nisson turbo, since Honda doesnt make one

Q: Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Question?
Which would be faster out of a 02 GTP Coupe vs. the 04 GTP Sedan?

Also, which is fastest out of the gtp, altima, maxima, accord?

A: Assuming you are comparing stock, unmodified vehicles, the 04 GTP would be the faster of the two. The 02 GTP has a series 2 engine and the 04 has a series 3 engine. The series 3 has 20 more HP than the series 2. I have actually raced these two specific cars (unofficially) and the 04 GTP was slightly faster. As to your other question, still assuming unmodified vehicles are used, I own an 04 GTP and have raced (unofficially) and slightly beat all of the cars you mention as long as you are talking about 02 to 05 models. The newest Altima is about even with an 04 or newer GTP and the newest Accord is slightly faster than an 04 or newer GTP. I hope this answers your questions. Keep in mind these are only my experiences and it does depend to a certain extent on the drivers of the vehicles.

Q: Liberals vs. Conservatives: Have you really stopped to read the definitions? ?
Let’s just examine these for one moment by definition and really READ each of definition:

LIBERAL (Democrats):
1.favorable to progress or reform, as in political or religious affairs.
2.(often initial capital letter ) noting or pertaining to a political party advocating measures of progressive political reform.
3.of, pertaining to, based on, or advocating liberalism.
4.favorable to or in accord with concepts of maximum individual freedom possible, esp. as guaranteed by law and secured by governmental protection of civil liberties.
5.favoring or permitting freedom of action, esp. with respect to matters of personal belief or expression.
6.of or pertaining to representational forms of government rather than aristocracies and monarchies.
7.free from prejudice or bigotry; tolerant: a liberal attitude toward foreigners.
8.open-minded or tolerant, esp. free of or not bound by traditional or conventional ideas, values, etc.
9.characterized by generosity and willingness to give in large amounts: a liberal donor.
10.given freely or abundantly; generous: a liberal donation.
11.not strict or rigorous; free; not literal: a liberal interpretation of a rule.

CONSERVATIVE (Republicans):
1.disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, and to limit change.
2.cautiously moderate or purposefully low: a conservative estimate.
3.traditional in style or manner; avoiding novelty or showiness: conservative suit.
4.(often initial capital letter ) of or pertaining to the Conservative party.

5.(initial capital letter ) of, pertaining to, or characteristic of Conservative Jews or Conservative Judaism.
6.having the power or tendency to conserve; preservative. Resistant to change.
7.Mathematics. (of a vector or vector function) having curl equal to zero; irrotational; lamellar.

8.a person who is conservative in principles, actions, habits, etc.
9.a supporter of conservative political policies.
10.(initial capital letter ) a member of a conservative political party, esp. the Conservative party in Great Britain.
11.a preservative.

With this being said, I want to know why Republicans act like it’s so bad to be a Liberal. Republicans bash Liberal so bad, “Liberal” now kind of seems like a derogatory name. What is wrong with being open-minded and wanting FREEDOM and open to CHANGE??? Conservatives are afraid of change! Why?? It doesn’t surprise me that MANY (not all) Republicans are also racist. Wanting to keep the status quo usually goes hand and hand with some type of racism or racial prejudice. It’s true!

btw, I am PROUD TO BE LIBERAL!

A: I am also a proud LIBERAL and you are right- it does seem like a derogatory term. Conservatives keep themselves in a box, yet they also want everything to go THEIR way and are not open to change. Well….. this isn’t very fair, considering all the different types of people that are in the country and world. Palin is trying to make the right, go MORE right, which is why people are getting turned off by her rhetoric. Bottom line, Liberals are more open to different prospects and ideas, which make us more marketable and useful to EVERYONE – not just the far right.

THIS IS THE REASON WHY OBAMA IS THE AGENT FOR “CHANGE” AND MCCAIN IS THE AGENT FOR “MORE OF THE SAME”

Chevy’s Camaro SS outfitted with the 422-hp 6.2-liter LS3 V8 six-speed manual hits 60 mph in 4.9 seconds and runs a 13.4-second quarter-mile at 108 mph according to Oppenheiser. Strangely enough, Oppenheiser also claims that the automatic-equipped SS Camaro, which is rated at 400 hp, runs from zero to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and through the quarter-mile in 13.3 seconds. “We optimized the shift points,” he said.

If you are referring to the bailout, Ford did’nt need it.

A: 2 road tests i have read on the shelby…..clearly point out it handles better than the camaro (plus it looks better)…..

and for 2010 mustang has announced there will be a shelby gt 500KR, that will be running 725 HP…..that puts it in the same league (faster than) a corvette ZR1….

Q: News Flash: Fight between Clottey vs Pacquaio will be at 147 according to new reports. Any thoughts?
Attorney Franklin Gacal, lawyer of Manny Pacquaio made a statement that Pacquaio should push for a 145 catchweight since Pacquaio is way smaller than Clottey. However, they are not to be blamed because this is what the reports suggested. However, Attorney Franklin Gacal has no jurisdiction to negotiate the weight since his job is merely analyze Pacquaio’s legal jurisdictions such as pending lawsuits against the Mayweather or legally protecting Manny Pacquaio.

The head honcho of Top Rank is Bob Arum who said it is 147. Chief Trainer Freddie Roach also said it will be 147. Rex Salud, Pacquaio’s premier advisor also said it’s 147. And most importantly, the chief advisor of Pacquaio, Michael Koncz said it’s 147 and Koncz even stated that Pacquaio said he had no desire to fight at a catchweight.

Pacquaio only fought one catchweight in his career. Boxers such as Bernard Hopkins, Julio Cesar Chavez, Sugar Ray Leonard, Herny Armstrong, Pernell Whitaker, Barney Ross, and Oscar De La Hoya have all fought at catchweights or negotiated to a weight limit that is below the limit of a specific weight class. All of those catchweights that this all time greats fought were all championship matches! But none of them seem to be mentioned much compared to the criticism Pacquaio took from his fight with Cotto.

Anyways, what are your thoughts on this? Pacquaio will come at 148-149 pounds and Clottey probably between 165 minimum to 170 maximum. There is a possibility that this could also break history books for the biggest weight gap in boxing history below the heavyweight division. Any thoughts?

http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=24680

A: My thought is that this bout of Pacquiao resolves 2 questionable facts about him:

1. That he is ducking black fighters – No
2. That he is dehydrating his opponents by utilizing catchweights and gain advantage – No

I hope this time he proves the critics wrong. Pac is the guy who deserves the statement: “not dodging and ducking anybody”

I have a joke for you…

Floyd: Just water..no ice please

Q: PS3 vs. 360 vs Wii?
Out of those consoles, people have the Wii the most, because it’s cheap, the 360 is desired for it’s online Xbox Live, which is the best in the market, and it has the most games, but performance for both of those consoles is nothing compared to the PS3 (twice as fast than Xbox360, with 50% polygons able to display on screen), which sells very little, because of it’s high price tag.
According to IGN, they reccomend getting the PS3 in the long run, because 360 is done with it’s maximum potential now, and that they probably need to make another console to keep up with the PS3 soon. the PS3 is developing games slowly, but Sony is making a developers program, that’s easy to use. Easier than it is now, for the PS3. IGN says that this will call forth a rush of games to the console, and that better games, longer, and with amazing graphics will be released. The SIXAXIS controller offers a better control then the 360 at the moment too What do you think about al of this?
The article was not biased. IGN is a trusted source and has hosted with the E3 Expo people. PS3 has also won awards, even if some here said something about it. It’s won performance and intuitive awards with it’s controller, not too simple like Wii, but still with motion detecting, to match the Wii.

A: I think someone drank the Sony kool-aid.

it’s easy to say “Sony will do this” or “Sony will do that”, or “MS can’t do something” but the truth is it’s just speculation.

Sony has a history of making promises they don’t keep. How about the original PS3 release date? Online? communities? awards? The point is that just because they say games will be coming faster doesn’t make it so.

As far as the Xbox goes, to say it’s reached it’s potential after less than 2 years is simply ignorant. The PS2, the first Xbox both improved year after year as developers got better with the hardware. The same will happen with the current gen consoles.

As far as the hardware specs go, specs are such a minor aspect of the system. You can have the greatest, most powerful system in the world but if it’s impossible to program for you simply won’t get the games. The Xbox is based on a PC architecture so it’s already familar to developers. That alone will keep games flowing to the platform as developers can easily cover 2 platforms (360, PC) with one development effort.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not anti-PS3. I’m picking mine up as soon as they confirm the date for Tekken 5! I just don’t like unbalanced journalism. Both systems are good, both have their strengths and you really can’t go wrong with either one. But I wouldn’t make my decision based on one pretty biased article on IGN.

Or you get both systems and cover all your bases

Q: Delivery Trade Vs Day Trading.? Paripassu? Same demat for differtent brokers.? Basis of listing?
I have some doubts regarding trading. You experts can help/advice me regarding this.
1.In day trading all the shares which you sold today should buy on the same day.
2.In delivery trading you can buy share today and you can sell it tomorrow (or any other day which you want). If so if am selling shares today then how it is classified as delivery trading or day trading (intratrade)? Or how I can prove that I am not doing Day trading?
3.Suppose I am selling 10 RPL share today which I bought 10days back, then how it is determined that it is not under the category of day trading. (otherwise I have to buy it back according to day trading rules)
4.Suppose I have 10 RPL share, one share cost Rs. 400. I want to place an order of selling today for Rs.1000. Is it possible? Or who has to decide the selling price (Minimum/Maximum)?
5.Is there any restriction that one cannot sell all the shares of particular company on same day? (Suppose I have 100 RPL share. I want to sell all these today. Is it possible? Of course if there are people to buy it only?)
6.What is pari-passu?
7.I have a Demat Account in ICCI. Can I use the same account to do trading in Sharekhan?
8.Today (11/02/08), the RPOWERL has been listed for Rs.530/. What is the basis of listing the same?

Hope some people will help me to find out these things.

A: To “bundle” most of your Qs into a few phrases:
Since you asked this in the U.S.A. forum: To day trade an account MUST have AT LEAST $25,000 U.S. in cash on-hand every trading day. This does not include any positions or any unsettled transactions.

The time it takes to settle stock trades is 3 business days.

As soon as the balance goes below $25,000, the trader must fund the account with more money OR a whole new set of trading rules applies. This varies from broker to broker, but the $25K is a hard. fast rule.

Your Q2: In the U.S. this is referred to as “swing” trading.

Broker electronically track every trade by every trader. When the trade is placed, you confirm the trade AND you have the iopportunity to print every trade placed, confirmed and completed. Yuor account also reflects the balances.

Your Q3. Day trading is in and out [entering and exiting] the same shares in the same company on the same trading day – regardless of the price.

Your Q4. You decide your own buying and selling prices through various kinds of orders.

Your Q5. Refer to my remarks.

Your Qs 6 & 7: I DON’T believe they apply to the U.S. exchanges.

Q: Evolution / Abiogenesis theroy VS Snow White. In view of Haledane’s Dilemma 1667 mutations. Which is fiction?
In 1957 renowned evolutionary geneticist, J.B.S Haldane discovered the evolutionary “speed limit” that is now known as “Haldane’s Dilemma”. His calculations show that many species of higher vertebrate COULD NOT PLAUSIBLY evolve in the available time. The limit is sufficiently SLOW that it calls into question the “fact” of evolution, or evolutionary genetics as an empirical science! Later Haldane attempted to “solve” the dilemma however his attempt was superficial at best and is irrelevant today except as a back-page in the history of science, of interest only to historians of science. Haledane’s discovery of the cost concept was brilliant. Though his attempt to solve it was brief, ambiguous and superficial, and he fairly acknowledged his conclusions “will probably need drastic revision. Today many evolutionary geneticists obscure Haldane’s Dilemma and brush it aside as solved when it was never solved. The Haldane “speed limit” is based on GENETIC MODELS & ASSUMPTIONS still current today in evolutionary genetic textbooks. Haldane’s analysis assumed continual evolution with NO STASIS. But that contradicts what is now recognized about the fossil record. Paleontologist Stephen Jay Gould conservatively estimates that fossil species are in stasis – where change is NOT occurring more than ninety-nine percent of the time. This could reduce Haldane’s limit by a factor of one hundred- to a limit of 17 BENEFICIAL MUTATIONS for explaining human evolution. THE TIME FACTOR – Allow 10 million yrs. For an ape-man linage – Divided by 20 yrs effective generation time – Divided by 300 generation per beneficial substitutions – Equals a maximum of “1,667 beneficial mutations substituted into that man-ape linage! (NOTE – if two species diff at 1,000 loci and the mean rate of gene substitution, as has been suggested is one per 300 generations it will take 300,000 generations in 6 million yrs). Even the geological time scale is too short for such process to go on in respect to 1,000’s of loci. (According to evolutionary geneticist, each substitution is typically one nucleotide, not thousands. However can ALL the uniquely human adaptations be explained within the limit of 1667 beneficial mutations SUCH AS TRIPLING THE BRAIN SIZE, UPRIGHT POSTURE, HAND DEXERITY, VOCAL SPEECH ORGANS, LANGUAGE to name a few? NOPE. You Evolutionist MUST actually solve Haldane’s Dilemma not merely confuse it into oblivion. Saying it makes no sense or is an “illusion: is false which is based on Wallace, Hoyle, Feller and Morgan which is in contradiction to leading evolutionary geneticist Crow, Ewens, Kimura and Maynard-Smith-who all took Haldane’s cost concept seriously.

A: Since you have a hard time spelling Haldane’s name …

… it is quite clear that you have never actually *read* Haldane … much less actually *understand* him.

Keep posting Archie … you are doing an excellent service to science by illustrating the intellectual *WASTELAND* that is Creationism.

Q: Raid 1+0 vs Raid 0+1?
So i’ve recently purchased 4×750gb hdd’s and set them up in a raid 0+1 configuration (according to my raid bios) doing some research into raid 0+1 and 1+0 the general idea is that raid 1+0 provides greater redundancy at similar perfomance loss, i don’t understand how they are any different besides the level they’re nested at in my mind they effectively should both be able to tolerate a minimum of 1 and maximum of 2 drive failures at slightly less than striped raids performance (assuming the striped raid is running 2 drives not 4) so in short whats the difference between raid 0+1 and raid 1+0 and if raid 1+0 is better then why is it better?

A: they are exactly the same, the only possible difference is the order peoples fingers typed it.

One is striping across 2 (or more) discs
the other is mirroring the entire array to a matching set of discs.

so 1+0 and 0+1 mean exactly the same

same as a cheese and ham sandwich is not really different from a ham and cheese one

Q: Pops credit card debt destroying my score?
My pops credit card is on my credit report (only equifax and transunion). It was a emergency use credit card for college… It isn’t showing up on experian.

I called them and they said because I was a “primary user” it will show up.

It dropped my already low (649 on experian) to 528 and 593 (equifax and transunion respectively).

How can I get this taken off. I don’t owe the money.

According to equifax and transunion I am -6% of my maximum credit amount vs my 100% available from experian.

HOW DO I GET THIS OFF.
I seriously signed nothing. Pops called and said I need a card with my sons name. They mailed it too him, he gave it too me. Now I owe 600k?

A: You need to write a dispute letter to the credit reporting agency (all 3). Explain that you never signed any loan application. They have to remove it because it’s not your line of credit.

Q: Can someone help me with health insurance??
We live in MA, just my husband and myself. He works and makes enough each month to pay the rent and bills…That’s it! I do not work because of a disability. Even though the amount he makes each month is a little over $1,000 less than the maximum amount one can make, according to MassHealth, when I called them up they said he makes more. $1,800 vs. $1,500 being the limit, yet on the very website that I spoke with someone, the limit is $3,500 for a married couple. How can this be?

Would it be better for us to move and to not have health insurance or to pay $200 a month for health coverage? (We live in a state that now requires it)
I can’t call them anymore because it just results in them hanging up on me and saying the previous company I called is wrong and they’re right. I get taken in circles and the only thing I accomplish is a phone bill!
Yeah, except $200 is out of our price range. But that’s ok. I’m sure we can survive on $10 a week for food…

A: Wow…I would pay the $200. Where I live, you’re lucky if you can get health insurance for $700/month for a married couple.

I’m not sure what kind of job your husband has, but he could try to find another job that offers health insurance. Even still, at my last job we had to pay $198/month for our insurance and that was with the company paying 80/50. If your state forces you to have health insurance, I would move!

Q: trick chemistry question help?
The welds of a steel container with a volume of 10L can withstand a pressure of up to a maximum of 5000 kPa. Can 100L of a gas, measured at 100 kPa, be transferred safely into the container?

At first I was thinking no because of the amount of gas volume vs. the volume of the container but then I wondered if it could be possible since according to the kinetic molecular theory gas molecules have no volume and gas volume is defined as the volume of the container its in. So which is it?

A: Boyle’s Law: absolute pressure times volume is a constant for a fixed amount of gas at a constant temperature, or colloquially: PV=PV

The limits of the container is 50000 kPaL. The gas you have is 10000 kPaL, one-fifth the capacity, so yes.

Q: honda accord vs ford fusion??

A: quit posting your lame ass question on everyone elses questions.

& honda, fck ford.

Q: Toyota Camry vs. Honda Accord vs. Nissan Altima vs. Ford Fusion?
which car should i get. im looking to buy used but i dont like the models of the honda accord that are before 2008 so that one is kind of cancelled out. any suggestions?

A: I can give you some advice with 3 of these. I don’t even know what a Ford Fusion looks like (and wouldn’t own a Ford again unless you gave it to me). My siblings own each of the other 3. My favorite is the Camry. Rides and drives superb!! The dash is well laid out, good ergonomics, handles well and good acceleration. The Accord is a very good vehicle too. Drives well and handles well and has good acceleration. The Altima…….. well, i wouldn’t buy one. It’s a decent car but nowhere near the Camry or Accord. I would consider the Maxima before i would consider the Altima. My top 3 sedans would be, 1. Camry, 2. Accord, 3. Maxima. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these three. I would also rank these the same in reliability and durability. Sorry i cant help with the Ford.

Q: Ford Fusion vs. Honda Accord – advice needed?
I’m about to dump my VW Jetta (and wouldn’t recommend anyone ever buying one again). I’m about to go broke from servicing it every time it has broken down in the 2 years I’ve owned it…it’s foreign and a piece of crap. Looking into the Fusion and the Accord as a replacement, most likely a 2006 or 2007 for each. What I want most is:

~value for a car that will last me a while
~something serviceable at every garage, not just the dealership who will rip me off for a joke issue (like VW does)

Anyone have any advice?? Thanks!!

A: Honda beats fusion hands down Honda a lot more reliable most any car now days has a lot of electronics which is gonna give trouble from time to time but Honda has better track record think about it how many Honda’s have you seen broke down on the side of the highway just don’t happen you see more fords on roadside than Honda ford is still good car just make sure whatever your choice check that it has had regular service all cars as arule are as good as the service they receive good luck

Q: honda accord vs toyota camry vs ford fusion?

A: Ford Fusion, support America!

Q: Would you buy 2010 Ford Fusion VS 2009 Honda Accord?

A: I do like the new Fusion, but i still think that it’s a bit behind the Accord in the quality, fit and finish, and reliability departments. I’d go with the Accord for quality, green(less polluting), reliability, and RESALE value.

Q: 2008 Fusion (AWD) or 2008 Accord?
can’t decide between the two Fusion AWD is supposed to be more safer than the accord but the mileage on it is 17/25 vs the accords 22/31.

A: I don’t get it – the same person considers ford and Honda?!?! If you miss one payment, you are in trouble for seven years. Ford has been screwing up for decades, and all of a sudden they think everything should be forgotten. Quite frankly, I don’t believe their philosophy and – as a result – quality has changed no matter what jd power crooks say about it.
To make it short, I would stay away from ford!

6. What body style is it (Sedan, coupe, hatchback, SUV, etc.)?

4. Nissan
5. Maxima
6. Sedan

Q: Which car should i get??? Easy 10 points!!!?
honda accord sedan vs ford fusion hybrid. I really like both these cars.

A: Honda accord on Kelley Blue Book:

http://www.kbb.com/KBB/NewCars/PricingReport/2009_Honda_Accord_237266.aspx

Ford Fusion on Kelley blue Book:

http://www.kbb.com/KBB/NewCars/PricingReport/2010_Ford_Fusion_248368.aspx

I would definitely say the ford fusion. it looks so much better and is cheaper.

Q: what should i get??????
new 2010 ford fusion vs new 2009 honda accord sedan vs used 2006 lexus es vs used 2008 infiniti g35 sedan. please i need help deciding.

A: 2010 Ford Fusion looks and drives really nice. Plus, you’ll have full warranty. It’s also good on gas and dependable. Ford has improved in quality significantly in the last 5 years and is on the same level now as Toyota, according to automotive press.

I don’t like Honda Accord, I think the latest styling is just awful, not that these are bad cars but they drive like big boats without any precision or fun factor.

Lexus ES300 is the upscale version of Toyota Camry. So, you’re basically buying a Camry. It’s a good overall car but similarly to Honda Accord, doesn’t exhibit any fun and excitement while driving.

2008 Infinity G35 is the best of all the cars you listed in terms of styling, dependability, and status. It comes close to BMW in regards to driving dynamics and precision. But, still not a BMW.

Personally, I feel we need to support our economy so that one day we finally get out of this terrible economy. That said, the only american brand you listed is Ford. I’d go with Ford, but ultimately it’s your decision. You can’t really go wrong with Ford Fusion or G35

Q: which car should i get??? Easy 10 points!?
ford fusion hybrid vs honda accord sedan v6. both fully loaded leather, navi, etc.

A: id depends on your taste, I like both, but if i had two narrowed down, test drive both and get the feel of it. Then when you choose which one is better take that pick. It just depends on how they ride. So remember

Test drive both
Make your pick
Make sure you call insurence companies so you can get insurence rates. Then if you like both, choose the one with cheaper insurene rates.

Q: Which car should i get??? Easy 10 points!!!?
2010 subaru legacy vs 2010 ford fusion v6 vs 2010 honda accord v6 vs 2010 mazda6 v6 all fully loaded with leather and navigation

A: 2010 honda accord v6

Q: what should i get??????
ford fusion hybrid vs honda accord sedan v6. both fully loaded leather, navi, etc.

A: Used or New?

I like the new styling of the Accord better.
