Q: Ford vs Dodge which one?
2008 Dodge Dakota v8 loaded 22k miles for $15000
or
2006 F-150, Ford 4.6 v8 45k miles for $17000
Both have 4×4 and all options… what would you buy, keep mileage in mind and a 72month payment.
A: As a Ford mechanic I can say that the 4.6 is a very reliable engine, although none too powerful, gas mileage is probably similar with the edge going to Dakota because it is smaller and lighter. If you haul lots of stuff, you might want the full size F-150
