Q: accord vs altima vs camry?
hey guys,
I’m thinking of getting a new car, i have two choices, or eve three.
Honda Accord, Nissan altima, or toyota camry.
I drive a g35 and would throw that as down. My current car is giving me some problems and i like to get rid of it before it gets serious.
Is it worth it to get a v4 in those three cars? will it eat less gas or will it be about the same since its a smaller engine with a bigger body.
What do you guys think?

A: They all have pros and cons.

The Toyota Camry is super reliable. The ride is really smooth, and the transmission lasts for a lifetime.

The Honda Accord is sporty, smooth, but it is known for transmission problems.

The Altima has mixed reviews. The g35 is based on the altima, so if you dont like the g, dont get the alitma.

I think your better off getting a camry, if you looking for a long term car, or the accord if yoru looking for a sportier car

and get a v4 in asian cars. V6 is just asking for worse gas mialge, AND more problems in the longrun

Q: Accord vs. Altima?
2007 Honda Accord EX-L 4cyl Auto with Navi, or Nissan Altima 4 cyl. with navi? I like them both.

A: the accord will have a higher resale value

by the way, there’s a sexy new accord coming out for ‘08

Q: Camry vs. Accord vs. Altima?
Looking to get a 2010 of the above in V6 w/leather, moonroof, std rims. Which is the best in class in terms of speed, reliability, warranty, prestige, aesthetics, etc and WHY??

Also which has the best incentive to buy this time of year?

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: Nissan Altima vs. Honda Accord vs. Mazda 6?
Which car is better?
-Nissan Altima
-Honda Accord
-Mazda 6

A: They are all pretty good. It’s like asking which is better, an apple, orange or banana. ^_^

But in my opinion (i have driven them all), here are what i noticed:

Nissan Altima is just a good balanced car. A/C is really freezing and parts are reasonable.

Honda Accord is a good sports car. Speed is really fast and durable but parts are quite expensive. The body is also more fragile.

Mazda 6 is a good car for maneuvers. The turns really dig in and is also speedy, but not as fast as a Honda. Parts are cheapest of them all.

Overall, it depends on your preference. Sporty, cheap or balanced of both worlds. ^_^

Q: Toyota Camry vs. Honda Accord vs. Nissan Altima vs. Ford Fusion?
which car should i get. im looking to buy used but i dont like the models of the honda accord that are before 2008 so that one is kind of cancelled out. any suggestions?

A: I can give you some advice with 3 of these. I don’t even know what a Ford Fusion looks like (and wouldn’t own a Ford again unless you gave it to me). My siblings own each of the other 3. My favorite is the Camry. Rides and drives superb!! The dash is well laid out, good ergonomics, handles well and good acceleration. The Accord is a very good vehicle too. Drives well and handles well and has good acceleration. The Altima…….. well, i wouldn’t buy one. It’s a decent car but nowhere near the Camry or Accord. I would consider the Maxima before i would consider the Altima. My top 3 sedans would be, 1. Camry, 2. Accord, 3. Maxima. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these three. I would also rank these the same in reliability and durability. Sorry i cant help with the Ford. Unfortunately, Ford is no longer know for “good and well made” products. I use to own Mustangs and F-150’s, but no longer. The Camry has been the best selling car for the last 6-7 years. That says something by itself. Also, Nissan has lost their edge, especially since they started making several models in Canton Mississippi. The Frontier is made there and a friend of mine has a 2006. it already has had problems with tire pressure sensors, sending unit for the fuel gauge, air bag sensor, rattling in the suspension that comes and goes, check engine lights that when i try to pull codes (obd2) there arent any to be found. I like the look of the frontier but won’t buy one because of his experiance as well as others.
I hope i helped and good luck with your decision.

Q: Honda accord vs nissan altima?
Hi i have a family of four. I cant decide whether to get the accord or the altima. I would prefer size in the passenger seat to be more conformable and all around more space. Any help would be great

A: Honda Accord. Honda has the highest resale value in the market and it is one of the best brands. Honda will give you better mileage and efficiency. As for the altima, it is good, but not as good as the Accord.

Q: accord coupe vs. altima coupe?
i asked a question last week regarding four car choice in which y’all chose the chevy cobalt and the altima coupe.

After reading reviews i decided I preferred the altima coupe.

After reading farther i found it was heavily compared to the honda accord coupe.

I went to both the companies websites customizing the vehicles and came to:
Honda Accord Coupe LX-S: 25,759
Nissan Altima Coupe 2.5 SE: 24,245

After watching review videos the nissan was not only slower but had worse handling and extreme body roll.

Comments and suggestions please.
alright.
after looking at other cars a picked out a dodge challenger SE which ended up being 25,785
and
chevy cobalt 2LT which was 23,540

A: If a Honda Accord is a choice in a group of cars, it is always the best choice.

Q: 2007 accord vs. 2009 altima? which one?
okay so, i m buying a used car between the range of 14-15 grand and 16 is tops. i have found a 2007 accord (base model) for $14000 with 68000k mileage. i also found a 2009 nissan altima (2.5 S), for about $17,900 with 49K mileage. i m hoping my dealer could lower the cost of altima to 16000 ish. But i m in a dilemma which car should i buy and which has the lower maintenance and repair costs, I drive 100km a day so i need a very reliable car with low maintenance costs.

So tell me Nissan or Honda, which one is more reliable…

A: Nissan

Q: camry vs. accord vs. fusion vs. altima vs. sonata?
please help me decide

A: Many options to consider. You can go to the manufacturer’s websites and have brochures for each car mailed to you which include all the models standard and optional equipment and it tells you what trim level it comes on. Also, the Camry and Altima were redesigned for 2007. The Altima comes standard with push button start and dual chrome exhaust. The Fusion is nice, but the interior is kind of bad compared to the others. The Accord is being redesigned for 2008 so it should have good deals at the end of the year. The Fusion is the only model with AWD.

The Altima and Camry have big V6 engines with good MPG. Also, the 4-cyl engines have very high mpg.

Altima and Camry are available as Hybrids.

My best bet would be the Altima.

Q: Honda Accord Coupe vs. Nissan Altima Coupe- which is better?
I want to buy one of these cars, new (2009 or 2010). Which do you think is the best in these categories? I want a 4-cylinder by the way.

Gas Mileage
Reliability
Looks/Sportiness
Best Resale Value

A: Mileage – you can look this up, about the same, slight edge for the Nissan

Reliability, both good, Honda better

Looks – I like the Altima’s looks better, but this is subjective. The 4cylinder Accord EX has a little more power than the Altima (190 vs 175)

Resale – Honda

Overall – I have an 08 4 cylinder Accord, so you know which one I’d buy with my money, I already did.

Q: 2010 Accord Coupe vs 2010 ALtima Coupe?
Hi. I am currently in this dilemma b/t the 2010 Accord coupe LX-S 4 cyl and the 2010 Altima Coupe 2.5 S CVT 4 cyl.
I think both of these two vehicles cost approximately 22k – 23k out the door (of course not now, probably late Nov or Dec). I first leaned more to Accord since everyone has been talking about Honda’s reliability and resale value, also Accord is well-known for delivering a comfortable, smooth ride. However, after I have done my lots of research, it appears to be true that the 08, 09 and even 10 Accord models have severe premature brake squeaking issue. Honda Cooperate knows about the problem, but they claim that there is no fix and customers are responsible for paying for the repair, meaning that we have to pay about $300 every 10k miles (based on carcomplaints.com) to change the brake. After I found out this, I started leaning more to Altima. I have looked through a lot of reviews, and it seems like the cons of Altima is that it is not as comfortable as Accord, low resale value, kid-size back seat and extremely sensitive brake.
I checked the true cost to own estimation on both cars on edmunds.com, the cost is pretty much the same. Here’s the link to the Altima and Accord, respectively http://www.edmunds.com/new/2009/nissan/altima/101047047/cto.html?setzip=90012&vdp=off

http://www.edmunds.com/new/2009/honda/accord/101047634/cto.html?setzip=90012&vdp=off

So please give me some suggestion on this dilemma. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
I plan to drive this car for 5 years.
The biggest concern about the Accord is still the brake issue. It will be a pain that I have to pay $200-300 to replace the brake every 10k miles, or even sooner.

Q: camry vs. accord vs. sonata vs. fusion vs. altima?

A: I have a 2006 Fusion SEL. Hate It !!! Had it less than a year and am taking a loss to get rid of it. The driver cannot see rear view because seat backs and back dash are too high. I am constantly scared I will wreck while backing up, and you cannot see the road behind you.
A friend also has a Fusion, she doesn’t like hers either. Used car dealer I know said the Fusion and Camry are the 2 cars he cannot sell.

Q: Toyota Camry Vs Nissan Altima Vs Honda Accord ( confused )?
Hi , I am planning to buy a used car 2001 – 2003 models. I am too confused to go for which one of the following :

Toyota Camry ( 2001 – 2003 models)
Nissan Altima ( 2001 – 2003 models)
Honda Accord ( 2001 – 2003 models)

I want to use the car for coming 3 years . Suggestions required from owners who have owned any of the TWO cars in the past and can really tell me which one was/is the best .

Thanks for the time to read this. You guys have a great day..

Regards

San

A: I own a 2005 Honda Accord EX V6 coupe, which is the same as the 2003, and has the same interior as the EX-L sedan, top of the line. I cannot say how much I love my car. It has just over 105,000 miles on it, and has not had 1 single problem. All I do is keep up on maintenance, and that is it. The powerful V6 VTEC engine is incredible, and the comfort and conveinence of the interior is great. I cannot think of any reason not to buy this car. But the 2003 year was the 1st year of that redesign, so if you can offered it , I would not bother looking at hte 01 or 02 Accords, unless they are much much cheaper.
The Toyota Camry is a very nice car as well, I am just biased because I own a Honda. The Altima is way, way behind when it comes to both interior quality and total reliability. The interior of the Altima feels more like a Kia or something. Also, the Nissan company has been getting better on reliability and overall quality, but it has not yet matched either Toyota or Honda.
Another car not on your list worth checking out is the Subaru Legacy. I would highly recommend this car over the other 3 if you live in an area where it snows in the winter. Subaru has a top of the line AWD system, along with the same level of reliability as Toyota and Honda. Unfortunately the newest remodel was in 2005 and Subaru’s hold a very high resale value, so you may have to get the 2nd newest generation, which goes from 01-04 I believe. They are great vehicles though.

Good Luck!

Q: 2010 honda accord VS 2010 nissan altima?
which 1’s better?

A: Just depends Honda if you want Japan corporate to decide how to shift for you. Nissan Altima is available with a manual trans and CVT and 4 CLY 175 hp or V-6 with 265 hp. Either way your choice will be availability with the options and colors you want. AS always buy the very most car you can finance with as many cool options. Hard drive bluetooth steering wheel controls navigation and leather sunroof 18″ wheels back-up camera. Both are very nice cars. There are lots of cars in the $19,000 to $36,000 price point. Hyundai Genesis, Toyota Camry, Ford Taurus. Remember this is something you may be making payments on for 5 or 6 years just how big you want your monthly payment. Get exactly what you want!

Q: Honda Civic Coupe EX vs Scion tC vs Nissan Altima Coupe vs Honda Accord Coupe LX-S?
I’m getting a new car and I’m looking for expert opinions / pros+cons of these 2008 cars. The Civic is the most fuel efficient but it’s also really generic and common; the tC is the most aesthetically pleasing in my opinion but it has the worst gas mileage; the Altima and the Accord are pretty nice but more expensive.

I’m also torn about leasing / buying. I’d rather buy a car, but I am afraid of purchasing a less fuel efficient car that will be worth nothing in a few years when gas prices are too high. Am I overestimating the inevitable increase of gas prices?

A: The cars you list are not all in the same category. A Civic VS an Accord? A Scion vs an Altima? How ill you use the vehicle? Solo driver most of the time or need room for 4? Toddlers in the back seat? Need room for two sets of golf clubs?

Take a look at the 2009 Corolla. Good gas mileage and a minor redesign this year.

Look at how many miles you will be driving. 10,000 miles is going to cost $2000 in a 25 mpg car. In a 40 mpg car it will be $1250. (using an inflated $5 a gallon). Check insurance rates for each of the vehicles, too. You may find some major differences between brands depending on your agent and the way the vehicles are accessorized. Side air-bags? Vehicle stability control system?

Check Consumer Reports for the pros and cons of the vehicles. They make recommendations that might help you decide.

Finally, who gives you the best financing deal? Your credit union? A COSTCO recommended dealer? Get a car on an 8% loan and you’ll pay a lot more than on a 2.9% loan. The cheaper one will help you pay for the gas. Know what the dealer’s invoice cost is and work from there – forget the sticker price unless you go with Saturn – and I don’t recommend you do.

Happy car hunting! (Actually, it is a pain. Don’t let the salesman see you have “car fever” cause he’ll put you in a vehicle he wants to get rid of or keep the price too high.)
