Q: camry vs. accord vs. sonata vs. fusion vs. altima?
A: I have a 2006 Fusion SEL. Hate It !!! Had it less than a year and am taking a loss to get rid of it. The driver cannot see rear view because seat backs and back dash are too high. I am constantly scared I will wreck while backing up, and you cannot see the road behind you.
A friend also has a Fusion, she doesn’t like hers either. Used car dealer I know said the Fusion and Camry are the 2 cars he cannot sell.
Q: 2008 Hyundai Sonata vs. 2003 Honda Accord?
I need advice on my choice between the following two cars:
2008 Hyundai Sonata, 30k miles, fully loaded (except leather seating) with electronic everything + all the bells and whistles, clean carfax report, 5 year or 60k miles warranty, $10k
2003 Honda Accord, 70k miles, not as many bells and whistles on the inside, no warranty, $9k
I want opinions on the two cars, I have heard that Hondas are much more reliable than Hyundais but both were very comparable driving wise, the Honda may have had a bit stiffer suspension. I preferred driving the Honda slightly over the Hyundai but the Hyundai is just such a good value for the money. Any Accord/Sonata owners wish to share their experiences?
A: Honda Accord.
1. Better car.
2. Better resale value.
Hyundais are ugly and besides that, they don’t have the pedigree of Honda. Accords are solid cars. I mean, accords have been in production for a long long time.
You’d think that Accords are really good cars because they keep producing it.
I just say it has a line of reputation of being good cars.
Hyundais aren’t that known for quality or reliability yet…
Q: Sonata vs Camry vs Accord?
Pick one and tell me why:
Sonata 2011-redesigned
Camry
Accord
I will buy my car in May, I know that the camry was recalled.
Do you have a suggestion for another car model/brand?
A: Since nobody has seen the redesigned Sonata up close yet it’s hard to say if it will surpass the segment leading Camry and Accord in sales.
If the indications are accurate it will be very compelling fight and if it does fall behind in sales it won’t be because of it’s engineering, performance, quality or reliability. One thing the new Sonata has is a style that the public will either love or hate. Not like the ultra conservative Accord that doesn’t offend anyone.
Hyundai is a company out to make a name for itself and this car (along with the Genesis) will help Hyundai at least level the playing field and bring them the respect they deserve. They are no longer considered cheap Korean toss away cars.
Q: camry vs. accord vs. fusion vs. altima vs. sonata?
please help me decide
A: Many options to consider. You can go to the manufacturer’s websites and have brochures for each car mailed to you which include all the models standard and optional equipment and it tells you what trim level it comes on. Also, the Camry and Altima were redesigned for 2007. The Altima comes standard with push button start and dual chrome exhaust. The Fusion is nice, but the interior is kind of bad compared to the others. The Accord is being redesigned for 2008 so it should have good deals at the end of the year. The Fusion is the only model with AWD.
The Altima and Camry have big V6 engines with good MPG. Also, the 4-cyl engines have very high mpg.
Altima and Camry are available as Hybrids.
My best bet would be the Altima.
Q: speed test 2011 hyundai sonata vs honda accord?????????????
Okay so can the Hyundai sonata 2011 with 198 horsepower and 3161 pds beat the Honda accord lx 2008 with 177 horsepower and 3204 pds?

I answered your other question as well. Yes it can beat an Accord
Q: Honda vs. Hyundai…. Who wins?
Honda has more cars so we will use this comparison….
Pilot vs. Santa Fe
Accord vs. Sonata
Civic vs. Elantra
Oddysey vs. Enotrague
and so on…. The war ends here, tell us where you stand and why….
I GO HYUNDAI ALL THE WAY BUT I NEED OPINIONS!!!!
A: In my opinion I would have to say Hyundai.
I can not understand why people hate Hyundai so much. It took more than 20 years for Honda to succeed in the U.S. and look at Hyundai!
It only took a couple of years to grow really big. They may not have been good at the past but face it. Hyundai is really making a good car now! I think Santa Fe is much better than Honda Pilot.
Accord is a little bit better than Hyundai Sonata, Civic is surely better than Leandra. But Entourage, is a really good car. It won’t be long before hyundai succeeds in the U.S. Hyundai is getting the respect Toyota and Honda was getting when they first came to the U.S. but look at them now! The only difference is, that hyundai are growing faster than them. It won’t be long before hyundai succeeds.
Q: 2009 Hyundai Sonata vs. 2006 Hyundai Sonata?
I know they interior blows the 2006 ones away. Is the suspension a bit more hard? Every time my brother turns the car at 15 mph their’s body roll! The seats are poorly bolstered! So, the 2009 ones any better? My dad’s 2005 Accord and my mom’s 2009 Odessey suspension is amazing!
A: The 2009 Sonata is all-new, replacing the old model. Suspension was a weak area on the old version of the Sonata. Your brother can replace the suspension parts with stiffer springs/shocks for about $700 installed or $400 just for parts on his 2006 Sonata.
The 2009 Sonata has more power, more safety features, more interior space and is better looking.

Q: Hyundai vs. Honda car comparisons?

A: No brainer get the Hyundai.
Hyundai quality is near that of Honda nowadays. I couldn’t recommend the 2003 Accord because that may be the worst model years, in terms of problems, in recent memory http://www.hondaproblems.com/Accord/ notorious for transmission problems. In fact it had a major recall for it http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/recalls/results.cfm?SearchType=QuickSearch&rcl_ID=04V176000&summary=true
Many people don’t think like this when buying a used car but the newer the car; the higher standard in safety. The Sonata has standard Traction Control and Stability Control. The Accord in 2003 had T/C only and it was an option so the car your looking at may not have it.
Plus, one big advantage for the Sonata is warranty. You still have the balance of the 5 year/ 60,000 mile B to B for it. I believe the Accord is past it’s warranty coverage. If you getting them from the dealer I would ask about the warranties to make sure.
As for the “Hyundai’s don’t last stuff” my 2001 Hyundai Elantra has over 140,000 miles on it and never had a major problem. Just like with any car, if you take care of it, it will last.
Q: New car vs. used car?
People always say that it doesn’t make sense to buy a new car because its value drops dramatically in the first few years. However, I found at current market there is no major difference in the price tag due to all those stimulus rebate offers. For example, a new 2009 Hyundai Sonata cost about $14700; while a certified 2005 Honda Accord will cost $15k, probably w/o warranty.
So my question is, is that argument still relevant in current car market?
Thanks. Any input will be appreciated.
A: No, the standard argument isn’t relevant if a new car is in the same class and is cheaper then a used car. You would be remiss not to take advantage of it because there are many advantages for buying a new car nowadays, especially Hyundai’s. Besides, the Sonata is one of the more competitive cars in it’s class by TODAY’S standards.
The Sonata bests it in nearly every category because it was built with today’s competition and safety in mind. A good example is the fact that the Accord doesn’t have standard traction or stability control which is on many of today’s cars.
One replier mentioned, it’s like comparing apples to oranges but it’s more like comparing freshly picked apples to apples someone took a bite out of and left it in the table for a little while.
Q: Is this power supply voltage right for these parts?
I have the following parts list:
Motherboard: Gigabyte 790FXTA-UD5
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 (at 3.4GHz)
VGA card: ATI Radeon HD 5850
Hard drives: 2x Western Digital SATA (1TB and 320GB respectively)
Optical drives: 1x DVD-RW/CD-RW combo
Case: Antec Sonata II, no front ports used and using stock fan.
Using integrated sound and network adaptors.
Aiming for 85% CPU usage and 80% maximum system load, with 10% capacitor aging.
According to Coolermaster’s website calculator, this adds up to a 382W minimum voltage requiring a 400W PSU. That doesn’t seem right, because my current box is running a 460W Coolermaster and its hardware is 4 years old (thought admittedly it’s not drawing very much power).
Is it okay to overkill a bit with my PSU, or should I stick as close to my power draw as possible? What are the pros/cons of keeping my current PSU vs. buying a newer and possibly better one?
I forgot to mention RAM: 2x 4GB DDR3 1333.
I didn’t think the voltage was right, I wonder why Coolermaster’s site is showing it as alright?
What voltage would I need?
Is there any way I can calculate the power requirement on my own? Coolermaster’s site is still telling me that I only need a 382W, and I’m not sure why.
A: Your power supply doesn’t meet the minimum requirements to run an ATI HD 5850.
ATI Radeon HD 5850 System Requirements
500 Watt or greater power supply with two 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connectors
Q: Hyundai Sonata vs Honda Accord.?
Okay so can the Hyundai sonata 2011 with 198 horsepower and 3161 pds beat the Honda accord lx 2008 with 177 horsepower and 3204 pds?
A: Yes it can with this specs but the comparison is not fair. Why not ask if 2011 Hyundai Sonata can beat 2011 Honda Accord. My answer will be of course Honda Accord.
