Q: Yaris Sedan vs Civic Coupe vs Elantra?
It is down to these three for me, which would you recommend and why?

A: I’ve driven each. The Yaris is geared fully towards gas mileage, therefore there is NO power. The interior is also situated oddly.

The Civic is a nice reliable car with average power and good gass mileage…nice ride also.

The Elantras feel very small and have a little more pick-up than the other two. The gas mileage could be better. Also I’ve noticed that they tend to start going around 80k-100k miles, whereas a Civic would just be getting broken in…haha.

If I were you, I’d go with the Civic. It’s a popular car, so parts are dirt cheap, and customizing is simple. It’s also one of the more reliable cars out there.

Q: Who would win? Elantra vs. Civic?
Repost: Who would win in this race?
Who would win? 2004 Honda Civic EX or a 2006 Hyundai Elantra? Both have less than 35,000 miles on them.
Please don’t say Honda because you like them better or vice versa.
- What car is faster
- Both are stick shift
- Stock
Tell me why and how.
Thanks :)
Info. is for a bet!

A: Well the Elantra hows I belive someone stated 20 more hp but 200 pounds of weight more then the Civic. If we used the racing math here.
100pounds of weight remove= is a tenth of a second faster. So 200lbs added is two tenths of a second slower

100hp=to a second faster. 20hp more will be two tenths faster

ok so 20hp two tenths faster – 200lbs two tenths slower=0 over the Civic

Ok so he we go it depends on the traction and driver.

Model EX has Vtec and should be launch at around 4-6,ooo RPMS(on the streets). If he is able to get instant traction then no thought he will win. Since he is stock I am amsuming that his tires are too. The Vtec motors are ment to rev high so his shift should be in the higher RPM range.

Now drivers. Is either of them good? Do they know who to drive there cars. Probably not so this be something you would like to post on you tube. If it was me driver it wouldnt matter which car I drove I would win

My money is on the Civic since thats what I know best if he can figure out what RPM to shift and launch he be good.

Q: Hundai Elantra vs. Honda Civic?
Hundai Elantra 2008 vs Honda Civic?
What do you have to say about this car? What do you have to say about it in comparison to a Honda Civic?

A: Consumer Reports recommends both. The Elantra is “not as agile as the Civic” and overall mileage is 27. The SE has electronic stability control which is recommended (all cars will have to have it by 2012). It runs $14 – 17K. The Civic gets 28 MPG (31 with the manual); is noisier, and has better crash results. Also, many more after-market options. But the cost is $15K to $30K – the high one is the hybrid.

Q: 2010 Honda Civic vs. 2010 Hyundai Elantra?
I’m looking to get a new car, either the 2010 Honda Civic LX Sedan or the 2010 Hyundai Elantra GLS. I’m a 19-year-old college student. I just want the car that is more reliable and comfortable to drive. Whichever one will cost less to maintain and last me longer. Any suggestions?

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: 98 hyundai elantra vs 98 honda civic?
which has better gas mileage? which costs less? rides better? any opinions will help, i need a cheap car and want to settle with either of these.

A: Get the Honda without even thinking about it,because there’s not much to think about.

Q: Hundai Elantra 2008 vs Honda Civic?
What do you have to say about this car? What do you have to say about it in comparison to a Honda Civic?

A: The Elantra has the better warranty, is much cheaper and has more room than the Civic. It has 4-wheel disc brakes and the Civic has disk brakes on the front only. The safety features are the same in both. The Elantra does have lit vanity mirrors in the sun visors and also has the 60/40 split back seat. The Elantra does give you two cup holders in the rear.
They are very close with the exception of the price and the warranty. You would probably get the better deal with the Hyundai as Honda very rarely comes down from their sticker price.
Honda hasn’t really done anything new or innovative in their cars in the past few years. Hyundai has been improving their line from top to bottom each year and the Elantra is now one of the top picks from Consumer Reports.
Good luck

Q: Honda vs. Hyundai…. Who wins?
Honda has more cars so we will use this comparison….

Pilot vs. Santa Fe
Accord vs. Sonata
Civic vs. Elantra
Oddysey vs. Enotrague

and so on…. The war ends here, tell us where you stand and why….

I GO HYUNDAI ALL THE WAY BUT I NEED OPINIONS!!!!

A: In my opinion I would have to say Hyundai.
I can not understand why people hate Hyundai so much. It took more than 20 years for Honda to succeed in the U.S. and look at Hyundai!
It only took a couple of years to grow really big. They may not have been good at the past but face it. Hyundai is really making a good car now! I think Santa Fe is much better than Honda Pilot.
Accord is a little bit better than Hyundai Sonata, Civic is surely better than Leandra. But Entourage, is a really good car. It won’t be long before hyundai succeeds in the U.S. Hyundai is getting the respect Toyota and Honda was getting when they first came to the U.S. but look at them now! The only difference is, that hyundai are growing faster than them. It won’t be long before hyundai succeeds.

Q: Toyota vs. Honda vs. Hyundai?
more specifically…

2010 Toyota Corolla S
2009 Honda Civic Sedan
2010 Hyundai Elantra Sedan

Which would you choose, and why.

A: Honda Civic 2009 will be an excellent choice… It’s an amazing car!!!!!
